well, it wouldn't i've seen cossie's happy with 1000bhp, just means alot has to be ripped out and changed, just like the audi, audi 90 turbo block would never withstand that beating without serious mods. Cosworth YB blocks on standard head, gearbox and clutch are good for just about 500bhp which is higher than anyother 4cyl inline from that era without mods.

i also have an audi 90. was made in 1989. 5cyl engine, carburated, 2.3ltrs. top speed 220 kms near red line and is very fast from 120 till 180kms, i ve seen 2 cars (mercedes cl220 and the bmw 120i) overtakin me more than 180 kms when i was drivin normal on the highway 120 kms, just put full gas in 5th gear, in 10 secs u catch them up and u can overtake them easily. its a nice car to race. but i prefer my rs2000 in certain road conditions.
