  • Utter shit

  • very bad ...

  • You move really fluidly, no rushing or trying to jump stupid distances. you make the best of the enviroment around you, not trying to jump large distances when there's no need because there is a floor you can use. this is true parkour or l'art du deplacement as you would like to call it :p

well done mate, keep it up.

  • goof fluidity skills and smart approach of the environement !

  • Shit

  • "you must never go backwords"

  • of course he can. one of the most severe parts in parkour is the abillity to repeat yourself over and over again

  • awryt m8 add me oan msn if yev got it a need sm1 to train with im from ardrosan i train mostly at saolcots harbour

  • Nice work. So, how long have you been into Parkour?

  • You seem to have got your wires crossed. L'art du deplacement is not parkour. It is not about efficiency. It literally translates as 'The art of movement' which it is. Aesthetics plays a major role in what the Yamakasi practise, efficiency does not.

Your roles don't look the best, maybe practise them a bit more?

  • this reply intersted me so went and found out as much as i could about and the most common definition is (l'art du déplacement, also called Le Parkour,PK and free-running) is a physical discipline of French origin. It is an art form of human movement, focusing on uninterrupted, efficient forward motion over, under, around and through obstacles (both man-made and natural) in one's environment. i have looked through many sites and i cant find any other definition. sounds like parkour to me

  • I have spoken to Yann Hnautra and trained with some of the non-founding members of the Yamakasi. Parkour is sometimes referred to as L'art du deplacement, but what you can safely say is Belle practises parkour [amongst other thigs] with it's effieciency and the Yamakasi practise L'art du deplacement - the art of movement.

  • What I didn't say before is nobody in France gives a crap about what you call it. Belle actually uses the term "l'art du deplacement" to describe parkour, meaing it in the litteral sense.

  • Do you actually practicion? I don't mean to ridicule but every traceur knows that there is a massive difference between parkour and freerunning, but most traceurs practise both in harmony, just to different extents. Parkour purists are very rare, as technically, even a revers vault counts as a freerunning movement because it is aesthetic rather than efficient.

  • very nice mate, can you please tell me what you use to edit. WB :D keep up the training

  • Thank's,

For the intro (first ten second's) was created using "Adobe After Effects CS3", and to edit the full video was done using "Adobe Premier Pro CS3"

  • thanks mate

  • Mate i`ve came to the conclusion you superglue your hat to your head lol .

Because that never comes off when your doing stuff !!

  • Some really nice stuff in there =D the bum spin to through rail was really nice, keep it up

  • Hey, try to watch out that you don't break the 90 degree rule, as it will urt your knees in the long while, also try to keep in mind what pk is. that turn on your butt isn't that much of parkour but it looks nice! But a very good vid, I can't do better..

  • the yamakasi use that little movement all the time, there's lots of situations where it has it's uses.

  • True, but try to reduce it on landings when you can. Because fact is. It isnt good for knee.

So just try to reduce it is my advice i would give you. But its true about yamakasi^.
