Those that gave my comments thumbs down love Obama for his celebrity, for his appeal, for his want of change. What they refuse to see or even ask is what is the guy really all about? The answer is no one knows. He has by almost all measures, accomplished nothing besides going to law school and being a "community organizer". Yes, he's a US Senator with no record of any real weight. No bills, bo stand on the issues, nothing.

Matthews makes a great point! If you are following politicts at all, you would know that if Barack Obama or Hillary wins in Iwoa they would more than likely go on and win the whole elections- But I cant say the same for edwards. Therefore, between Hillary and Obama, I think Obama would have a broader impact- YES! even world wide.

You're right. If it was his actual election as President it would be a story. I doubt any body outside the US cares to much about primaries.

Another point is that Obama is not a radical departure from previous presidents. He's very much a manufactured candidate. A vote for him is a vote for much the same as before. The radical candidates will as usual not get a look in.
