Baha'is should not be forbidden 'anywhere but temples' which is in your "Book of Laws." That's dumb. There are not enough temples and God-devotion should be encouraged in as many places as possible.

Also, why does the "greatest name" (that Arabic thingie) spell out the word "Evil" in English?

The building is amazing. I spent much time there on the grounds meditating when I lived in the North Shore. Personally, I do not trust the spiritual integrity of the IHJ leadership and if they should ever gain the world political power they aspire to control I suspect their actions will not be those of gentle peace, love, friendship, and fairness.

what I meant was that people who promote New world order (and not bahais) want us to throw away all the weapons, so they can easily rule the world. They want only them to possess all the weapons. This is a group which is ruling the world and these people promoted people like bahaullah to preach putting away all the weapons and blah blah, so no one can stand against them. Peace is a very attractive slogan, but what when someone is forcefully occupying your land???

When my family and I lived on the North Shore, we visited the Temple regularly. I miss those times walking thru the gardens and sitting silently in prayer inside the Sanctuary. Truly one of the greatest spiritual centers in the world!!!

mate seriously, silly comments. 1. Jesus said many would return in His name, but would be false prophets, "wearing the skin of sheep" but would be "wolves." Baha'u'llah didn't come in Christ's name. He came in His own. 2. Christ said he would return in the same way that he descended. How did he descend? From the clouds? Nope. From the womb of mary. Thus we have to take this "return" symbolically (not from the clouds, but in another form). Got more to write but 500 character limit... investigate

Where is the original birthplace of Christ? Where did he live and travel? What is now called Israel is part of the Middle East, along with Palestine and many other areas described in both the New and Old Testaments. Jesus was not European, nor American. The whole "American" take on Christianity is due to almost 2,000 years of intentional editing of the Holy Texts so that it might suit European and American "sensibilities".
