@iloveknex It doesn't really feel like snow, it's a lot grippier and not as slidey, though it's better when it's wet. It hurts a lot if you fall though, there's another type of dry slope called Snowflex which is more like snow.

that stuff is old. it has a metal underlay so when you bail it hurts. you can get permasnow which is like white astroturf. your looking at £60 a mat because you need some underlay and everything

yarr loads, the ground is solid and it scratches up your skin really bad. impact shorts and pads are useful!

snowboarding is all about progression, if your too worried about scatching your jib stick on a dry slope you wont progress much.

Yeah, all those sports can help with balancing on your snowboard. But as you know all these board sports are all slightly different. And as you can wakeboard and surf, snowboarding will be easy!!

it doesnt hurt when you fall if you are putting in some turns, but like snow if you bail really bad then you can do some damage. I broke my leg last year learning bs5's on it but its no worse than snow.

Not bad man its all good!! the Pembrey Slope is about 1 hour from Llangrannog and Pembrey Slope is the BEST in wales, more ramps, loads of rails and a wicked freestyle scene with a good crew, you should check it out!!
