I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Mercedes vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and EFi injectors clean as new!
If you read the previous comment you wouldn't even said that. I bet your 68 doesn't have vent windows in the doors just like mine, unlike a 67 which does. Also being the owner and having the vin # and the title, it is indeed a 68.
@superglidedyna ya guys its a 68 i love the camaro's and firebirds for it to be a 67 it has to have the vent windows in the side... nice car regardless
Boy does that bring back memories,i learn how to drive in my brothers 67 firebird 400.Athough it wasn't a 10 sec car and would easily run in the mid to low 13's.
Thanks. It's a 455 pontiac with stock bottom end with all ARP bolts, 1968 400 heads home ported with stock replacement SS valves, solid roller cam 252 @ .050", 1.5 roller rockers, torker 2 intake,800 holley dp, 1-3/4" headers, 2-1/2" full eshaust, 10" 3500 converter, 3.42 gears and 29x12.5 et street tires. 3200lbs. shifted at 6,000 rpm.

Looks like a 67', The 68's turn signals are on the corners of fender extensions. Nice run though!
