Well i think the purpose of her video wasn't to pose any challenges to different eye shapes, it was to show a clear idea on how to sculpt (highlight & contour) in a way non professionals can try and understand. I think she did a great job.
oh, is my english that bad? i think i have already said what i meant. for me it's a new trend since eve pearl and i hoped that the channel supervisor would answer if it is or not (like they have done this for decades but just didn't show it).
ok, i KNEW that for a look that seems like the mua had only used 3-4 colors they actually has used like 12-14 colors BUT i feel like since eve pearl's vid on yt the other mu vids started to SHOW it, too. the brush doesn't go in one color before an application but in SEVERAL colors.
...these videos were originally uploaded as "artistry in action" on the mac website and they list what products they used there. Go to "Prep + Prime Eye" on the mac website and the video, plus the items used in the video are shown when you scroll down the page.
thats not racist i just thought the colors were so dark, they werent showing up that clearly.. and major excuse me!!! for having an opinion.. it just didnt impress me that much so duh! i m entitled to an opinion!? apart frm that i love the models eyes and bone structure.. sorry for not saying now my comment is market down ugh!! shud ve listened to my head first time.. always be naaaaaaaiccccccceeeeee ...
Heavenllites: The colors have to be a tad darker than her skin tone. We are contouring the eyes to create depth. Youo need darker colors to achieve depth to the eye.
One of my favorite looks, ever

I think your video background should change to be grey in order to let us watch the model's face clearly.

would have been nice if they used a model who didnt naturally have big eyes, to see the difference contouring makes
