Guys I am the wrong side of 30 but essentially Junior Jack has built the song around a sample of "This beat is mine" by Vicky D. It a great tune this guy just keeps knockin them out....
Benzy199 means that he stole the ideas, not he samples...Junior Jack has used variations of this Daft Punk bassline also in E Samba...Dave Armstrong had already used the "Baby Make your move..." lyrics in a remix & that's why they say that he stole it...Well, he used the same sample but that's no stealing...The two remixes look identical though...
@Champiness But this doesn't "sample" Daft Punk. It samples an 80s funk track by Vicky D, but in a style obviously closely emulating Daft Punk's "Burnin'". Incidentally, I prefer this to Daft Punk's track but I just had issues with your terminology.
yeah this is the b side to woz not woz i think?? Junior Jack has done a few songs that arnt his, this one, stupid disco was done by dave armstrong first!
The trebly synth is a sample from some 80s boogie tune..the name escapes me right now. Maybe D-Train? So much house rips off old disco & boogie anyway, Daft Punk included!
Good times!

Like it says : such a thrill (all over me) when I listen it,
especially this version with Terra Deva.
Still I have no clue what those "beings" are in a video. They are censored.
If anyone knows, please send me on dobri7@gmail.com

También podríamos decirlo de Mr. Oizo, y tampoco. Me quedo con ésta, por la "subida" que consigue.

Yeah , bassline has been stolen without doubt ..
funkerman7 3 years ago
daft punk - burning he stole this bassline he also stole stupid disco from dave armstrong origanaly call make a move
benzy199 3 years ago
"Stole" is a bit of a harsh term... here in Electroworld we cal it Sampling.
Champiness 3 years ago 6
original is better
eklyy 3 years ago
I guess it's sampling, but as a general rule of thumb, it's best not to sample people in your own genre.
