i have a question...how does it work? it needs a di mo right? where can i get it in the US? and which hole is covered? is there a website that can clearly explain it?

a horizontal one needs a membrane (di mo), a vertical one doesn't. the second hole, which is usually smaller than the others, should be covered.  i got mine from my China when i went back last time. ebay sells them too and you don't have to worry about getting a fake one like a made in China Gibson Les Paul. Just watch out for cracks as bamboos too often do that.

he is sorta flat the scales in china are much different than the scales in led zeppelins music

yea, in western scales A is tuned to 440 Hz, but in eastern Asian scales it can be tuned to 430 or something else.

According to what I know, the Chinese Instrument Scale is tuned to 442mhz. And some of his notes are ok, but others are flat, which goes to show that his scale is not consistent, but rather his playing of the instrument...

This is an awesome song to play on this flute. He was only flat at the beginning, as the song goes it's not so bad. You just need more practice that's all. Great job!!!
