  • Chlorella is the oldest food source on the planet. It is thought to be 4 billion years old. It contains 5-10 the chlorophyll content of any other algae. Wow!

  • Thank you for all the help. It's nice to know people like you are still around. :-) your the man!!!! Dr.

  • I think you can counter aluminum & berium chemtrails with using Chlorella and Cilantro chelation.

  • @Jogeta5 this is exactly my hypothesis. and i am testing it now.

  • Once again ,thank you and we really love you!!:) Have a wonderful day:)

  • I agree with the consumption of algae to detoxify the body, yet I think it' irresponsible to say that every one should work up to 50 tabs of chlorella. Many people will go into a detox crisis with that much algae. Also, Spirulina offers nutrients that Chlorella doesn't. I find the best results with my clients when they alternate the two......and are given recommnedations for their unique needs, not, practicing, psuedo-holistic health care.

  • What method is used to break the cell wall in your chlorella?

  • It's not about detoxification for me, it's a way of life.

  • One question dose chlorella have hallucinogenic properties ?

  • @AlbertInSanAntonio wish he would answer...haha cause spirulina as far as i know blocks one of the maoi's maob? either way i want to know also

  • @AlbertInSanAntonio Were you already dosed on something when asking that, worried you'd take your stone too far? No, it's just a food. But it can, in large doses make you feel woozy as it pulls toxins out into circulation for elimination. Solution there is to drink more water. Or better, to well hydrate yourself before so drastically increasing dose. Does that make sense?

  • I've read that miso (fermented soybean paste) has the property of removing heavy metals from your body. I would love to hear more about miso.

  • @ErmUhOkFine Yes, me too, and I would like to hear more about nori (a Japanese algea). Does it help in the detox process as well...?

  • What brand of open cell chlorella do you recommend? I use the Greens+ protein bars on the run and I noticed that they only say Japanese chlorella and not if it is broken cell.

  • I mentioned to my doctor about doing a natural detox

and she said that supplements for that purpose affect "Cytochrome P450" and therefore should not be taken.

Dr Mercola -- Is this really true?

  • The fact that they affect cytochrome p450 is exactly why they should be taken.

  • How so? Please explain.

  • A lot of foods affect Phase 1 Cytochrome P450 and Phase 2. Cruciferous vegetables, tangerines, and oranges all do so. VItamins and minerals also have a major affect on it.

  • To tell someone not to take anything that affects liver detoxification is to tell someone not to eat fruits and vegetables. It's like saying we should eat twinkies all day.

  • It makes no sense. Nature wants you to detoxify and that's why our food gives us the ability to do so.

  • @DefeatADDnow

Our food system is so denatured that it has no effect on our bodies and doesn't supply us with any nutritional value.
