@Boshetunmai Destroyed? Canada actually was quite competitive and had many scoring chances. They just didn't have the finishing touch. The final score was not representative of the game. Also did you compare the names of the roster on each team at the WHC? Canada had seven 20-year olds whilst Russia was stacked with Olympian superstars. Not comparable at all.

@canuck21 That's because Canada has won 8 of the 12 tourneys in which they've sent their best players to (the other 4 were won by USSR, USA, Cze and Swe with 1 each). Russians don't have anything to gloat about when everyone sends their best players because they always get their butts handed to them. They only win and get to brag when their best players manage to sneak past teams made up mostly of JR/AHL/College players from other countries
