Im black and american and I kno there are diff types of british accents and most americans speak with cockney accents. I love those cuz i think theyre hilarious but still most ppl in america think they onlii speak with cockney but i like the way all british ppl talk and its so cool but i really can onlii do a northern accent and cockney but still love it

as someone who is english (because if you were to have a british accent you would have to have a southern english accent, northern english accent, welsh accent, scottish accent and northern irish accent all in one.) we do not all speak like toffs who enjoy a spot of tea and cricket. we just dont go crazy on the vowel sounds.

At the start it sounded like a Scottish accent. It's not too hard to learn the "British" accent. Here's a tip mate, watch tons of British dramas. Watching the news is bollocks, its boring and it usually doesn't stick. I'd suggest something like Peep Show, or Little Britain.

Well Scotland has about five different accents, Wales has about two, England has so many I've lost count and Northern Ireland has about two.
