Got a problem with the game ..

I bought it for PC, and it was working fine for a while, and i completed it.

But when i started it up yesterday, it was putting up a message saying ' General protection error', and closes down the game. EVERY TIME! Ive tried uninstalling, ect . Please if you have a solution, or if this has happened to you, help !
