I love (at least have some admiration for) the fact that the first thought was actually "are you okay?" "Is everyone okay?" So many people would be firstly pissed about the garage but they were genuinely concerned that everyone was okay. :)

This is a good example of why having a good feel for physics is so important. The reason the crane tipped was because the operator extended the boom beyond the tipping point of the crane. IT's a matter of the location of the pivot point and the lever arm. He didn't do the math.

It could have been a hell of alot worse. At least it wasnt the main living quarters that got hit. Still I would have flipped seeing that happen :o
