You are gifted with a one-in-a-million voice. But singing is about more than the voice. That's why there are famous singers who aren't the most gifted vocally. You have some learning to do, not only about expressing emotion, but about staying with the meaning of each word you sing, letting it move you, and then flowing that emotion out to your audience. Taking acting classes would help your singing, because it would teach you the discipline of staying with the focus.
You have a good voice. No doubt about that. But the riffs you do during the song are not in the style of the show. I understand you're putting your own flair on the piece, and I do this too, but try to stay more in the style of the show. Songs like these should be changed more with intonation, reflection and acting while your singing. Also, you have a good open quality but there are some notes it sounds odd on. Work on your vowels. Otherwise really good job.

I love the tone of your voice. It's so pure on your high and low notes. The only things (in my opinion, there really is no right or wrong) I can suggest is that in your middle notes around the a-c range is that you try to bring the sound more forward (brighter). You sometimes swallowed your words on those notes and I think doing that would help a lot. Lastly, in the beginning you changed it up and the end you changed it up. Change it up in the middle now. :)

Is there no end to your talent? WOW!!!! This is one of the most underrated Broadway songs, in my opinion and like everything you do, you bring a new life to it. You always take a great song and make it your own rather than just mock the original. Who needs "Idol" or "Got Talent" . . . We've got Scot!

Is there no end to your talent? WOW!!!! This is one of the most underrated Broadway songs, in my opinion and like everything you do, you bring a new life to it. You always take a great song and make it your own rather than just mock the original. Who needs "Idol" or "Got Talent" . . . We've got Scot!

I really feel it is only a matter of time until someone on YouTube discovers you. It blows my mind why you are not on Broadway or The West End?!?!? Or why don't you have a record deal yet? You can sing just about anything. There is just too much talent here to not get noticed. Good things happen to good people. It's only a matter of time. Your determination and perserverence is such an inspiration! You refuse to give up on your dreams, and I respect you so much for that!

@DavidSchecter the reason he isnt on broadway or any other person like him is, is because only 2% of actors are employed. so the other 98% who are just as awesome are awithing in the wings, if they get that far anyway.
