Britain has many army's fghting for it (like the Ghurka's and the colonial forces) Its Secret Services are unmatced throughout the world. A lot of the British army are acting as UN peacekeeping forces at the moment. Russia have so many more bombs than any other country in the world. And America have the biggest military budget (although they have been known to be wasteful with it)
Your statistics are way off, saying that Russia has 5 million active troops is ridiculous, they have just over 1 million, as for the UK having only 97,000 men, they actually have about 197,000. USA is just about right at 1.5 million.

The Ghurkas are widely known for being the most well trained and fearsome troops on the planet, There are many armies with much more strenuous training on the planet. Take the French Foreign Legion or the British Colonial Forces for example, within the first 3 months of their training at a camp they are shipped off to places like French Guyana and Kosovo to complete their few years training there. Where if you fail to complete it the consequence is death.

Bearing in mind if a war actually happened between theese countries this would be a very different argument. Britain has many army's fghting for it (like the Ghurka's and the colonial forces) Its Secret Services are unmatced throughout the world. A lot of the British army are acting as UN peacekeeping forces at the moment. Russia have so many more bombs than any other country in the world. And America have the biggest military budget (although they have been known to be wasteful with it)

The Ghurkas are widely known for being the most well trained and fearsome troops on the planet, There are many armies with much more strenuous training on the planet. Take the French Foreign Legion or the British Colonial Forces for example, within the first 3 months of their training at a camp they are shipped off to places like French Guyana and Kosovo to complete their few years training there. Where if you fail to complete it the consequence is death.

i don't know about Iraq, probably the fact that the US did a lot more combat operations than the British meant they had more casualties.
in Afghanistan there are 10 times more US troops than British, yet less than 5 times as many casualties, meaning proportionally they have had half as many casualties.

@StrawberryRizla Size has never stopped us before at the end of the day all three countries are not powerful enough to beat each other the mass populations of Russia and America as well as the land mass means it would go on forever and the island of Britain is like Japan in WW2 as a comparison you know you will lose the war in trying to get it so you try and nuke it as to take it you will run out of resources and Britain out of the 3 has the most historical allies to back it

ok guys and gals i have to admit that uk is not the strongest in the world and were not as strong as the U.S or Russia but even as a smaller nation we can still pack a hell of a punch and that people is why i'm proud of being a brit

I think its funny how the UK makes in up there in the ranks along with USA and Russia.. The UK is tiny compared to those two countries! It just shows how strong and how much force the UK has! Can you imagine if the UK was the same size and the USA or Russia, i reckon it would blow them out of the water. If its this strong when its this size, it'd be a monster if it was bigger!

@borinque74 after the war there was 3 superpowers. the usa has been the #1 superpower since the late80s and will be until about 2020..thats 40 years. the brits had the #1 status from 1800 to 1943 ish...thats 143 years, the usa's dominance has been a minor blip in history, the fact is usa is only the #1 because it is the most populous industrialised nation, when china followed by india get there it will be them....the british got there through innovation the rest...through population.
