This song is really good, but it is the worst vocal performances by Ian Curtis on the album. Ian could have done better I'm sure, but the producer and the engineer probably didn't know what they were doing.

This is the best cover out there. Heck, I didn't think the original was that great and would rather listen to this one. Saw Moby perform it live, but it wasn't the same.

I second that. Hooky even appeared on one of the more recent things Perry did, so there's some definite respect there from Jane's Addiction. Personally, I felt Moby did fine; he brings a more emotional bent to what really is a dark song. But, I'm biased; I've always loved Moby's JD covers.

I thought it was pretty good until Navarro did the guitar solo, gee how many times have we heard that? Oh about 4 million times? And that was just the 70's. At 4.07 I turned it off. There was no skill or imagination on Navarro's part with that, yeah yeah Navarro we know you can play solos, so what? Stretch yourself artistically you can do solos like that since you were 15, you can do them in your sleep. I am surprised Moby even knows him let alone be on stage with him.

It's only a cover music lovers.Rarely are they better than the original, but at least there are two very competent musicians doing this song live , and I think it's pretty good .Didn't cost anything. I'll still play the JD one before anything when I get the joneses for NDF. MOBY STILL KICKS ASS !

Moby can't sing to save his F-cking life. He makes some pretty good music but his voice is not so good. I think I sound better in the shower when I'm drunk. Navarro is awesome here but I think overall but John Frusciante is better. Please stop singing Moby. Your music sounds so much better without your vocals.

this video doesn't suck, it's great. i like when rock/pop musicians jamming to the classics, it's much like the jazz 50-60's, different players move around and play with a wide variety of players, creating something new or by playing (jazz/rock/popular) standards... really gives a depth to the meaning of writing good songs, so enjoy this, and manymore collaborations to come, wouldn't you like to see dave mustaine & jurassic5 & shania twain jam on some classic song??? the future!!!

I second that. Hooky even appeared on one of the more recent things Perry did, so there's some definite respect there from Jane's Addiction. Personally, I felt Moby did fine; he brings a more emotional bent to what really is a dark song. But, I'm biased; I've always loved Moby's JD covers.

I thought it was pretty good until Navarro did the guitar solo, gee how many times have we heard that? Oh about 4 million times? And that was just the 70's. At 4.07 I turned it off. There was no skill or imagination on Navarro's part with that, yeah yeah Navarro we know you can play solos, so what? Stretch yourself artistically you can do solos like that since you were 15, you can do them in your sleep. I am surprised Moby even knows him let alone be on stage with him.

Moby is a creative talent, Navaro shreds nothing to prove at all, but fuck man have a heart. A cover of a joy Division classic that is equal parts Helen Reddy and Quiet Riot. Stop it.
