  • Did the OBOGS problem ever get fixed? I can't seem to find anything fairly recent in the media about it.

  • @HauptmannAmerica I don't think so. You can't fix what you cant find, so F-22's returned to the air in order to collect some data. That was the last I heard. Hopefully they LM finds something.

  • The new 3-D-vector-thrust EJ200 for Typhoon offers much more agility.

  • This pilot really showed how tight the Raptor can turn,

  • 2:04 that turn was guessing 10-11 gs it funny how russia people say f22 is junk just wait when f22 is blowing there planes out of the sky

  • @skateboy159

I've recently had my doubts about F-22. But, this video shows well the lethality of the Raptor. Normally, demos of the F-22 have been great, but nothing spectacular. They definitely don't show too much of it's capability at airshows, just useless & boring "cobra maneuvers." On occasion we get a glimpse of the F-22 true capability, incredible. The T-50 has to prove a lot just to match what we already see in the Raptor. The J-20 is mix bag of junk.

  • @ThePatriotMuckraker like the saying goes plane is only good as the pilot

  • @skateboy159 i talked to a 22 pilot. surprisingly he said those real quick tight turns are not that high in G's he said more like 4-6. it just looks intense.

  • @strikeeagle345 wow i was thinking it would be very high gs it like a almost half turn in maybe 50 feet lol

  • its so funny when hardcore gamers doesnt go here because the f22s are not in bf3

  • such an amazing aircraft.

  • I wonder how many Gs he's pulling with those snap turns.

  • i love that noise

  • Squeezing moisture. NO. Air going over top of the wing is travelling faster, which makes it cooler, so any moisture in the air is condensed and turns to vapor.

  • @eclipse245 Partially right. When the wing moves through the air, the pressure above it is lower than beneath. Low pressure means not as much water can be held in the air, thus. it is condensing due to low pressure. It is kinda squeezing it out of the air.

  • @ENGEEEX Partially right. It isn't condensing due to low pressure. Temperature is what determines condensation.

  • @eclipse245 temperature is a function of pressure...so yay we are both right :D

  • @eclipse245 -"It isn't condensing due to low pressure. Temperature is what determines condensation."

    Bingo!

Compressing air heats up. Conversely, dilating air cools down. In the case of these aerial maneuvers, the air over the wings dilates so much that the air cools down to below the air's dew point, allowing condensation to form.

  • @em745aa exactly :P

  • @ENGEEEX -"Low pressure means not as much water can be held in the air, thus. it is condensing due to low pressure. It is kinda squeezing it out of the air."

    Wrong.

  • F-22= The Definition of BadAssAircraft!

  • I don't know which vapor shot angle I like better :|

  • Americas' symbol of air superiority

  • screw a dime turns on a pinhead!! great vid!!

  • JEEZ! Never seen that much PG that hard that fast! Must have been 10 Gs

  • In Soviet Russia the air squeezes moisture out of jet!

  • How come I never see Russian planes squeezing water out of the air?

  • @deathcar You need to have power and velocity to pull these high g vapor pulling maneuvers but most russian jets perform well with there canards and low speeds.

  • There's not a whole lot that can make the F-22 seem uncool... but this announcer might've done it!

  • Great video. NO OTHER PLANE TURNS THAT HARD AND FAST (not even the experimental SU-37).

We've yet to see what the SU-50 can do... time will tell.

  • Squeezing the mositure out? I believe it's the opposite.

  • Flying in san diego is the best because of the close proximity of the beach and moisture that helps make the high g vapor

  • AMAZING TURNING!!!

  • Going to the Miramar Air Show in San Diego? Don't miss your chance to win an IPAD 2 or FREE LISTING from homebate.com/blog/miramar-air-show

  • chicks dig jets

  • Hey santa can u pick one of those up in alaska on your way down this christmas?

  • Nice Video. Thanks for Sharing!

  • who was the 1 person to not like this

  • @JahMallx you serious?

  • @JahMallx in your dreams not on its best day

  • @JahMallx Yes it is better... for CANNON FODDER!!

  • i was at this show

  • Use to work at Pratt and Whitney back in the 80's when they were developing the engine's for the F-22 it took many years to get it right

  • "Squeezing the moisture out of the air..."

    LOL! "Squeezing???"

Methinks the announcer might benefit from a lesson or two in gas laws. :)

  • @em745aa I am pretty sure he was "dumbing down" the explanation of the vapor for the kids and idiots.

  • Man! That is my dream. Flying an f-22 raptor around with the best maneuverability in the sky. That is just an amazing aircraft. The pakfa is nothing!

  • russisans just upset because their technology is obsolete compared to the U.S.!!!!! HATERS!!!

  • russisans just upset because their technology is obsolete compared to the U.S.!!!!! HATERS!!!

  • Dude When It Was Doing The Test Run It Went Over The Parking Lot Were I Was And Shook Everyhing!

  • nice vid, I was there, Fri. Sat and Sun.

  • I dont remember seeing the F22 on the schedule. If I woulda known a raptor was gonna be there I would went.

  • beautiful

  • Saw them at the Great Minnesota Airshow in July. They are the most amazing thing I have ever seen. And I got a BadAss T-shirt too.

  • I think I can hear Russians crying.

  • @CardsharkLeader I've ACTUALLY heard Russians laugh about how stone-age the F-22 is compared to systems they've had in use for 20 years.

  • @b1cc2 Such as?

  • @b1cc2 Ignorance is bliss

  • @b1cc2 You need a reality check you dick head the russians have got nothing compared to the f22 you the one with ignorance you fool

  • @b1cc2 haha. And let me guess, they all have stealth capabilities, have 70,000 pounds of thrust, and have has slick of a body right? The SU-35 is crap compared to the F-22. BTW, the PAKFA looks like a blatant rip off of an F-22 with F-35 wings and the same goddam powerplants too.

  • squeezing is a bad analogie, since it is more of a pulling.

  • This is probably the second most vapor I have ever seen. Nice video!

  • SICK VAPOR

  • @Skyes9 vapour is total plane porn.

  • Flight Deck Chalet or Semper Fi?

  • @kimsean426 Media Chalet

  • Wow Great Vapor!! That's Awesome!!
