Thats exactly why i like CoD more than Battlefield. Put on some music, and run around shooting people. Sure Battlefield is fun if you have a group of people you know and can talk to and work together with, but most of the time its not the case. You don't have to communicate with anyone in CoD to be good. Its not that CoD is easier or requires you to have less skills to get a kill, it just means theres more action.

Cod's single player is good and consistent although BF's have some good moments Cod's are generally better, however BF's online is better than COD i fail to see that after literally no patches being done on any of the games (because your publisher Activision is greedy shitbags) that any COD player could continue to play it the games are boring the gameplay is stressful and it hasn't even got dedicated servers. BF has got dedicated servers and has much better overall gameplay.

Battlefield and Call of Duty are both great series' in their own, unique way. Battlefield and Call of Duty is fun and enjoyable. In Battlefield, if you good team and your playing a decent team, it's fun! But in Call of Duty, one man can win a game. Call of Duty is also a lot more arcadesque and a lot of time, when with friends it can be a ball. Something they both share, is the ability to boil your blood. So quit yo' b*itching, quit yo' complainin' and play the games for what their worth.

guys....you should get it. cod is a commercial game. it's not supposed to be fun or good. it's supposed to sell. and 12 y.o. buy it. be happy you don't have kids yelling at you after you score a marksman headshot. most of them still think that bullets get to a target in an instant.
I like the destructablility in BFBC series, but it just takes too long to switch weapons, they need to look at COD and take some ideas such as physics and Character interactment

i luv bfbc2 because of the reasons those two listed above, however i would like if bfbc2 had more objects strewn around it would make it more realistic , warzones are supposted to be dirty and ctuttered not devoid of objects however this is a minor detail and bfbc2 is great without it

@AK47FILL Try borrowing or renting it first. Just because it's a fps doesn't mean you'll automatically like it or be good in it. But if you have money to spare, go right ahead. I played the first Bad Company and I found it really good and this one only improves on it so it should be much better. Just don't go Rambo like everyone in CoD.

I also love the way COD's DLC are 4 online maps and a zombie map for 11.99 and Battlefield Vietnam has 5 new maps (Which are about 5 times the size) something like 15 new weapons and 6 new vehicles plus tweaked weapon design to fit into that time period (RPG, TNT, Syringe etc.) I reckon it could easily pass as a whole game itself and it's only 9.99. So if anyone is thinking about switching to Battlefield, or just buying it. DO IT. Its not only more fun, its more cost effective ;)
Is it just me or is there alot more lag and disconnections from games in COD? Battlefield seems to run SO much smoother even with all the vehicles and buildings being blown to fuck. And also that COD brings out the worst in people, what with all the abuse people give and I know I give to other players just because of the gun or perks they use. And I can't think of anything more entertaining than driving to the enemy base on a quad with a mate and stealing their helicopter :)

BF2 > BC2 > COD. Unless you've played a true battlefield game like BF2, you don't have any idea what a great battlefield game is. BC2 is a mediocre shooter. As for that noob with the highest rated comment, just wow. Play a game like ArmA. 'nuff said.
I could not agree more. The feel of BBC2 is just much more immersible and intense than any call of duty. The physics and destructibility is amazing and adds so much realism and fun. The sound as you said is phenomenal and is unrivaled by any other game I have ever played. The gameplay itself and the feel of the weapons seems and feels much more balanced and fun than the call of duties. Just my opinion though.

battlefield 1942 (first battlefield game released) was just so much fun than battlefield vietnam (original) came out and it was so much fun alot more vehicles (helicopter, jeeps, tanks, etc.) I just had alot of fun and i also really liked 2142 it had alot of weapons, vehicles, and game modes
there is no answer to whether or not this game is better than cod and vice versa because they are 2 different games. this is a large, team based game where you won't run into an enemy every 10-20 seconds and you spawn far away from the action mostly. in cod, you can run around gunning and you can see an enemy almost every 10-15 seconds. you can win the game on your own. these 2 games attract 2 different kinds of fans of the fps genre
I like black ops, but it gets boring sometimes. Battlefield is my savior from COD. They are equally good, but Battlefield just gives me the "war" feel.
i got SO disapointed by black ops that it makes me want to go back to Modern Warefare 2,im dead serius it takes a SERIUS fuck-up to make me want to go back to play that game!Im going back to Uncharted 2,and the next call of duty can go fuck it's face because im not going to buy it.
@Zisis101 take battlefeild trust me. My bday is monday and im getting microsoft points to buy vietnam but battlefeild is much better. at first you may not like it just like i did becuz i wasnt good. but it actually takes skill. So just give it a day or 2 and you WILL LOVE IT!!! Its the best choice.

I could not agree more. The feel of BBC2 is just much more immersible and intense than any call of duty. The physics and destructibility is amazing and adds so much realism and fun. The sound as you said is phenomenal and is unrivaled by any other game I have ever played. The gameplay itself and the feel of the weapons seems and feels much more balanced and fun than the call of duties. Just my opinion though.

You make a great point about COD being the same year after year. Battlefield is also my preference just because there are so many more ways to play and go about completing your objective. CoD for constant action, and Battlefield Vietnam for more fun team tactical games with a lot more stuff to do. I still choose Battlefield, CoD can get lame at times and the only fun is SnD. CoD is also more about how good people are with controllers and reactions, if CoD had same steering as in Battlefield then CoD would have been forgotten long time ago.

Half of you kids just started playing battlefield with bad company; bad company is nothing like a real battlefield game. What do people do in COD? Spawn kill. What do people do in BC2? Spawn kill. What do people do in COD? Camp. What do people do in this game? Camp, with choppers, tanks, etc.

battlefield 1942 (first battlefield game released) was just so much fun than battlefield vietnam (original) came out and it was so much fun alot more vehicles (helicopter, jeeps, tanks, etc.) I just had alot of fun and i also really liked 2142 it had alot of weapons, vehicles, and game modes

there is no answer to whether or not this game is better than cod and vice versa because they are 2 different games. this is a large, team based game where you won't run into an enemy every 10-20 seconds and you spawn far away from the action mostly. in cod, you can run around gunning and you can see an enemy almost every 10-15 seconds. you can win the game on your own. these 2 games attract 2 different kinds of fans of the fps genre
