What exactly are you measuring with your "gauges?" Seeing as a gauge is a unit of measurement and not a piece or jewelry....

How old were you when you gauged your ears? I've really wanted gauges but I don't know what age is best to start gauging because my step-dad has his and he says it takes awhile for your ears to stretch... I'm 14 right now, so it's not like I'm some little 8 year old being stupid c: Also, would you recommend tapers BEFORE getting gauges to help stretch your ears? But anyways, I would really appreciate your opinion! Thanks :)

@MsPuka123 14 is young to start, but you sure can. You need tapers to stretch your ear lobes, you can't just start putting plugs in. Just remember to give them plenty of healing in-between time and go slow, many upon many people think their ears can handle fast-stretching which results in shredded ears and infections. Once you go past size 0-00 i hear they wont shrink. I never went to that size because I had to take them out for work.

HELP?!?!? ADVICE!?!?!?! Ok now that Your Probally reading this last night I went from 2g to 0g I didn't force it in or anything but the tappers are to heavy for me so I tried to put in silicone ear skins (stupid I know) they started to bleed after DX I cleaned it with the claires ear cleaner and Holley butter and the started bleeding again so can you guys maybe tell me what I can do I really DON'T want to take them out to let them heal so I have to re stretch them again but if I have to I will
