How did I never hear about David duChemin? Thanks to this program, I will find out more about him on my own. It seems as if there were time constraints to the show and I would have loved to hear more...
thanks so much for the feedback! we are really happy about joining the Adorama TV team and are already releasing our next show within the next 24 hours - it's with TV Host Katie Brown, who has 2 TV shows, has written a number of books and has several major product lines.
She works a great deal with commercial photography and speaks to how she hires photographers, what stands out to her when looking at work/interviewing them - and how she got her own self hired in television.
i can relate to the giddiness of being in a foreign country and feeling invincible and mischievous. A shame it ended so horribly for him. I wonder if he'll be more cautious in his future travels. Definitely going to check out his book. looking forward to seeing where this show is going. who's next?
@poppadomish my guess is he'd say that he would not stop taking risks, but he would most likely not want to relive all the rehab he's going through now...
u know what? i like it :), but i in how they do that i have more attention then this one, this one explained a little better but in how they do that its like face to face sometimes and at least in how they do that they say what kind of gear they used compare to this one :S
it's nice to see Adorama offer a balance to the strong technical nature of most of their videos. It helps people to see the real human element behind the creative. Tough to be comprehensive in 11 minutes but I'd love to see more videos like this about people who are discovering ways to be successful in business following their passion. A market way under served and it's very cool to see Adorama taking this on - looking forward to the next episode!
Tamra, great video. I would leave out the stuff at the beginning and spend more time delivering what you promised about the business side from your guest. You need to control the interview a little better. It ended and there was so much you could have covered. Too much time about a guy falling off a wall. That should have been edited out. Interesting to you, but not so much for us learning the photography business. Keep up the good work...look forward to your next video!
Nice to see Adorama offer more than just the best technical videos on youtube. I feel something is missing from the video. Maybe Mark or Bryan could co-host til Tamra becomes a stronger lead. I felt the video was very one sided and the questions asked were somewhat weak..Reminds me of the movie Frost/Nixon.

Video seamed NOT to have a baseline. Sort of bounced all over the place. I think Tamara is great, just think the guest was a douche, no pun intended.

Guys relax, they are tuning in and learning what to include and exclude in future shows, so don't be hard on them in the beginning
