Mine never has worked to sync with iTunes but works great. Thanks to this external battery I take it off the charger at 6am and drop it back on the charger at midnight with about 50% battery left on the phone. Well worth it.

I love my power slider, too. It's a must-have in my iPhone goodie list.

I think, however, we might be lucky as I've since read a lot of reviews that have consistently mentioned issues of it not powering up or failing to charge the phone while draining itself.

Incase has also discontinued it and for some reason they're a little guarded about why - though they have been saying for a few months they'll have a new model "soon." I'm not sure when that is, though.

Either way - MY unit works great!

I have had the best results with my incase power slider. My day starts at 0600 to the base by 0800.....I could flying the western states and return back to the base change pilots and travel another 1400 miles. I never turn the wifi, blue tooth, or location. Use all the medical programs and still have talk time on the iPhone. On the back end of the shift, the iPhone is on internal battery but I get 24 hard hours from the power slider and iPhone. It works!

I love this case I paid $ 109 with tax. what cool is that not only will it give you extra life on your battery, it also extend the battery life so instead of 2 and half years your battery might last for 5 years.

I have to disagree with being against the matte finish and antiglare. I think the antiglare and matte finish texture reduce stickage with my hands and fingers. I think the antiglare just feels more responsive. Thats just me. Peace and respect to all.

I see one major flaw in this case. Li-ion batteries should NOT be fully charged all the time. It stresses the battery and makes it lose battery life faster.

TO 11PEARCE11 & bhanner95: I just bought this case and took your comments seriously until I read the user manual for Incase. (P.11) "Advanced lithium-ion polymer battery cell technology prevents overcharging and short-circuiting & provides protection from extreme temperature."

Furthermore, I will contact Incase to find out if a future memory problem developing for the iPhone 3G is possible. I bought it for $73 at Bestbuy, and have 30 days to return it.

Incase holster works with ivyskin cases, as well as many others. I have the Griffin closeup lens case, incase lether ones as well as the ivyskin clear plastic and all work with incase holster

carlos!..... i think u should have the power slider in the ziplock bag... u shoulld only put the case on if u need a charge... have ur phone in a slider or a rebel or somethig else... but only have it if u need a charge... because apple said about the battery would get less of a battery life!

Do be careful when using this case. If you leave it on the phone all the time, the battery will develop a "memory" and become useless. the battery will last for 5 mins. I personally would use this case for emergencies only.

I think iPhone batteries are Lithium which dont have a memory, in other words it doesnt matter at what % you charge it at. But But but like any other battery it will loose power over time.

i saw this review, bought the power slider and im returning it today.. For one its way too heavy to be carrying around... Its so annoying to have this small phone weigh so much.. The biggest problem I had was the battery getting so hot.. That was the main reason Im returning it.. Doesn't feel safe for my phone to be hot all the time.. I did notice some reception lost also.. I will just go for a Richard Solo..

Incase should make the SAME EXACT model cover, BUT with the ability to turn off the extra power supply, until the iPhone battery is dead. Example: you have the cover on your phone, you use your phone with everything on, once your IPHONE battery gets red, you simply flip a switch on the battery cover, and it begins to charge your phone. That would be the ULTIMATE power case. Please reply with an opinion.

People, Do NOT buy this case. it attentuates the signal too much and in marginal areas of coverage, like inside buildings, you lose service. My incase was returned to the shop and the guy (bestbuy) said that most are being returned due to this issue............
