That's because these are the pictures from the original shoot where they just used makeup for their looks. Then they realized it was no good at all (Duh!) and they re-shot the epilogue scene using both makeup and CG I and the results were much much better. This is what the director said, and you can find it on Wikipedia. So I am looking forward to the new version of the epilogue which I hope is amazing! Though they did such a good job of choosing the actors for Al and the rest! So cute!:)

Good point about when the books are set, but the movies makers kinda shot that by using the Millennium Bridge instead of a car bridge over the Thames in "Half Blood Prince" It wasn't finished until 2000 and because they had to do upgrades to keep it from "wobbling" it wasn't open for pedestrian traffic until 2002, 5 years after the time of the book. As for the pics, the boys look much older than the girls. They are only supposed to be 35-36 tops.
These pictures ARE indeed real. They put a lot of make up on Dan, Bonnie, and everyone else to make them look older. I read in an interview, though, that they re-did the scene because they thought that it wasn't the best way hey did it. So I'm not sure if this is from the first or second takes of the scene.

That's because these are the pictures from the original shoot where they just used makeup for their looks. Then they realized it was no good at all (Duh!) and they re-shot the epilogue scene using both makeup and CG I and the results were much much better. This is what the director said, and you can find it on Wikipedia. So I am looking forward to the new version of the epilogue which I hope is amazing! Though they did such a good job of choosing the actors for Al and the rest! So cute!:)

Good point about when the books are set, but the movies makers kinda shot that by using the Millennium Bridge instead of a car bridge over the Thames in "Half Blood Prince" It wasn't finished until 2000 and because they had to do upgrades to keep it from "wobbling" it wasn't open for pedestrian traffic until 2002, 5 years after the time of the book. As for the pics, the boys look much older than the girls. They are only supposed to be 35-36 tops.

These pictures ARE indeed real. They put a lot of make up on Dan, Bonnie, and everyone else to make them look older. I read in an interview, though, that they re-did the scene because they thought that it wasn't the best way hey did it. So I'm not sure if this is from the first or second takes of the scene.
