@gothicgman Hi. If ti's easy, do you still got the type of the fan? I also get this funny noise for a few minutes when I open the system until it..... warms up :) I tried to find the right fan but I am not sure which one is it and I don't wanna make any experiments. Thnx in advance
I bought one of these and indeed, the fan started making a sound after three months.

you will need... FAN 12VDC 40X10.5MM 1.4W 7.3CFM .........type this in to google >>>>>KD1204PFS1 H hope this helps

yes, i think you should returnt it.........mayeb in the future it has a overheating and it wrokes down........you can loose the data!
