Has anyone looked at countries where Muslims are in the majority? ARE ANY OF THESE COUNTRIES SUCCESSFULL? No, because they are backward, barbaric, and miserable. HOWEVER, what happens if a person become disillusioned with Islam and say converts to another religion or just wants to deconvert? @99minerkc Yes, and No. In the past, many people have been killed for leaving Islam (Apostacy). However, the Quran doesn't mention a death penalty for Apostacy, not once. And the 4 major Sunni schools say Apostacy is only a sin when the person doesn't do so in ignorance. And classify Harmful and nonharmful apostacy. Many Muslims, including scholars, hold strong to the idea that Apostates shouldnt have a death penalty. It's more culture than religion.

I'm not picking on one religion more than another. However, Islam is the only one that advocates death to the infidel. Any religion that which is a threat to others should be scrutinized more.
