pinko commies they dont realize that sum people join on their own free and some who cant afford college the usmc is a great place to go , developing leader ship confidence and serve our great country what have those pinkos done for our country
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
this is for real?!
i mean i wouldn't want anyone i know to join because of many reasons esp cuz its so scart, but either way i support everyone in every way. its their choice.
"We support the murder of American troops", now that is just wrong. It's funny how organizations like Code Pink say stuff like that even though they knew they can't exist in any other nation if that particular nation is the main player of a war. It's America, and everyone is entitled to his/her views which in some cases, are extremely disrespectful.
Name "that particular nation being the main player of a war."
It seems to me that the US is at war, not many other countries are and usually dont go to war for the wrong reasons such as we did.
Have you been to other countries, they have the right to protest also, people like you act like the US is the only free country in the world and I invite you to travel the globe to realize that we are not so special.
Sweden, Norway, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Canada, Netherlands, all are free.
Not really no you can get arrested there for inciting hate in the US you can't. Just a few months ago a woman in Canada was arrested for posting hateful anti gay things on the internet.
In Sweden, Norway, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Canada, you get arrested for inciting hate? In all of these countries? If thats the only difference thats ok with me. In the US you get arrested for protesting and being addicted to drugs. In other countries you get freedom of speech and TREATMENT for drug addiction, not INCARCERATION.
Nope you do not get arrested for protesting if you have a permit for it. Well why should we not arrest addicts? They willingly broke the LAW, you know the set of rules society has agreed upon to create harmony in society. Drug addicts are only victims of their own stupidity and irresponsibility.
Your statement contradicts itself since I already pointed out you can and will be arrested for speaking hateful things so by definition that is no freedom of speech.
Ok,Do we arrest alcoholics or tobacco addicts? No, and let me guess its not the same because its semi-legal, THEY ARE STILL DRUGS, just like Oxycotton. What about legal prescription drug addicts? Arrest them? No, we dont. WHY NOT arrest drug addicts? BECAUSE IT DOESNT WORK, about 60% of inmates are NON-VIOLENT drug offenders.I was always taught that locking someone in a cage should be a last resort, and used for VIOLENT people, not pot smokers.
Duh man, you cant yell fire in a theatre, same thing
Does the Constitution say anything about a permit? No it doesnt. Type in "Protesters arrested" on YouTube here and I guarantee you see protesters being arrested. Amy Goodman, a reporter for Democracy Now was arrested at the DNC convention. She had media credentials for covering the protests, but she was arrested and detained
We live in a police state so quit talking shit about how Europeans do things. No one is perfect, especially the US
The Canadian police dress up as Protesters and throw rocks
No it does not but it mentions that the state can have their own laws if its not disclosed in the constitution and most states require you to have a permit to have a protest because PUBLIC property is for the PUBLIC meaning everyone not just you because you wanna spend the next 12 hours of your day protesting.
Me talking about Europeans? Hmm if I remember correctly it was you that brought up Europeans into the convo stating that well in Europe they allow free speech and I debunked that.
Yes I mentioned their right to protest in Europe WHICH IS TRUE. THen you mentioned "inciting hate" which is different than protesting. Remember also, in the US we have something called inciting a riot which you cant do.
Look man, you cant yell fire in a crowded theatre or threaten someones life. No country has absolute free speech. This is why you should act like we have it better than the Europeans. Thats my point. You can disagree, but at least address this.
Well there's a difference in hate speech and inciting a riot. hate speech is speaking negatively about a certain group of people and such, inciting a riot is suggesting violence and making threats and thats illegal.
So its not really counted as speech anymore its counted as a threat.
Yes I understand this, my point is that Europe outlaws one type of speech, we outlaw another. Therefore neither has absolute free speech. Correct? No it is counted as speech, both hate SPEECH, and inciting a riot.
If you want to split hairs, inciting hatred can also be a threat.
Yes its not the same because its legal. Thats what it all comes down to legal or illegal. You can argue all you want about that but if society says its illegal then its illegal, end of story.
yes but illegality doesnt equal fair or just. Right? This is similar to my other point, we lock up drug addicts, does that make it right? NO, it doesnt.
My friend recently got arrested for passing condoms out on our University Campus during freshman orientation. He was told he wasnt allowed to do this. He said yes I can, the administrator called DPS and he was arrestd for "disorderly conduct." Disorderly conduct usually is the charge for protesting or exerting "free" speech.
That is fine. My argument is that it is hypocritical to not lock up alcoholics and cigarette addicts and also prescription drug addicts, but to lock up drug addicts. THESE THINGS I MENTIONED ARE ALL DRUGS. DRUGS ARE DRUGS. Right?
Are these laws keeping order and harmony? Not in my opinion, these drug laws are flooding our prisons, again 60% being NON-VIOLENT offenders.
I approach things with a rational view, putting my socialization aside. You fail to be able to do that, and thats the diff.
We have the most people in Prison in the world. Are you proud of that? We have more than COMMUNIST China, or Russia. IF you think filling up the prisons with NoN-Violent offenders is a good idea, think again. Where are we going to put the VIOLENT offenders?
I believe a Democracy can be measure by the number of NON-violent offenders serving time in Prison.
Well fair or not its still the law and I don't give you thumbs down so I dunno why your accusing me of that.
The bottom line is society decides what the rules rules are and since our society shuns the usage of narcotics its illegal if most of us though we should use narcotics then obviously the law would be changed to accommodate what we want.
The law is the law thats the end of it. You can complain how unfair it is but its still gonna be there and your gonna have to obey it.
My bad, someone keeps giving my comments a thumbs down right after they post.
Actually, our society has legal narcotics, they are at the pharmacy, and they are more dangerous than the pot that I would DE-CRIMINALIZE.
If we always accept things as they are then we will never progress as a society. The laws are not working and thats my point. Has drug use gone down? No. Im not an idiot, I understand its the law, but THAT DOESNT MAKE IT RIGHT MAN, I guess you just dont see that.
It seems like you take the attitude that if we make a mistake then we should stick with it just because we made an earlier decision which lead to that mistake.
Call me an idealist but I believe we can do better. How can you stop someone from using a narcotic that they can make themselves (meth). Meth is the new moonshine.
This leads me to believe that prohibition never works as well as regulation and control. Let me say that again, prohibition never works as well as regulation and control.
No your not. Your making me prove myself, which I am having no trouble doing. Your looking for flaws in my argument and ideas, but you provide no better argument or solution.
I said Europeans have free speech, and you said you debunked that.
You cant debunk something that is true. They have free speech, in the same manner we do, however, their laws are worded different.
Care to try again with your "straight talk" facts Mr. "I dont take a position."
Lets get out of the middle east so they can walk up on our soil and start blowing up our own citizens. Smart! (pause) Let me get this straight, you dont support the war, (in which we are protecting the innocent,) but you would rather see the country collapse like a black hole and let them fight in the middle of the "peaceful citizens" and blow them up with no regard.
The war is not a reflection of our bad economy, "We the people" did that to ourselves. RESPONSIBLITY - Which we lack!
If you would at least attempt to support your argument and refute mine then I would give you credit. You simply give up. Like I said a month ago, YOU FAIL!
Im answering all my comment replies and just thought I'd give you another attempt.
Are you telling me that all 600,000 Iraqi's that have been killed were terrorists? ANSWER THIS if you think Im wrong.
Do you believe the Billions and Billions of dollars sent to Iraq is hurting the economy?
Further, I am not sure what boycotting the city will achieve? Like you said, it is an organisation causing the 'problems', so why would you want to make a whole city suffer for that? especially when alot of the residents of that city probably do not support CodePinks actions?
If people want to support their country, i think that is fine. I think the CodePink people have good intentions, but they are just a little misguided (they should be targetting the governemnt).
The Iraq war have nothing to do with US secuity (as the CIA and other intelligence agencies have repeatedly said). Calling people un-American for not supporting a war which has killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people is nothing should of ridiculously stupid.
the code pink people are retarded. If they dont stand for protecting our freedom they can go to another country that doesnt have half the privlages we have. People take so much stuff for granted. If it wasnt for war we would have slavery about 1 quarter the United states and we would be controlled by other nations. W
The people that are doing the protest needs to go to a country that doesn't enjoy the freedoms we have here and see how they like it. They have a right to protest because many people have fought and died and continue do fight and die for that right. We are a free country mostly because we have such a strong military to defend our freedoms.
As I know the Marines will remain largely unaaffected by this protest effort, I pity the recruiter and the innocent volunteers of Berkley. Code Pink has the right to protest and demonstrate, even rent parking for that purpose, but they do NOT have the right to physically block the entrance. Anyone remember how this went with abortion clinics? Well, we're talking a federal office this time, and it won't be pretty if it continues.
You are right. That is the reason why I don't think this is the right way to protest. If they want to stop youth to join marine, they should start educating them. As you mentioned, ignorance is sin. In fact, there is a black Vietnam War veteran who educates young kids in a ghetto to let them go to college rather than joining military. He believes poverty and a lack of education are the main reasons for minority to join military.
People should not join the military because they need a job, live in poverty or want to go to collage. One should join the military because they value our freedom! We need well educated people in the military, we don't have enough of them. Sometimes you have to sacrifice your own needs and wants to make sure others can enjoy them.
Well, for officers, yes. They need well-educated officers, but not true for foot soldiers in marine or army. If you have a chance to visit bases in Japan, you will see those guys appreciate freedom to party rather than freedom in political matters. Even American business men in Japan don't like to deal with those guys. You will be disappointed.
Don't forget, the majority of those men are YOUTHS, 18-24. They'll party no matter what profession/college they're in. Thats part of the young lifestyle of the military, work hard, play harder. The problem is they are NOT adults.
The simple truth is that the GI bill allows those who would miss college new opportunities, nothing wrong with that. Conversely, I know MANY Marines, enlisted at that, with 2+ degrees from before/during their military time. It isn't all the stereotype.
The military is a unique experience that offers training and on-the-job work. Its a vital thing in a world of inexperienced college graduates, and may give them a leg up in an economy where graduating simply isn't enough to get you a good job. This isn't a bad thing, that the military attracts those who want a job, are in poverty, or want college. Its a rare opportunity for those who are willing to serve for a few years, one they will NOT find in the unmerciful civilian business world.
its your definition of patriotism. you dont take into consideration that one can be patriotic, and have similar views as Code Pink, that is to be against militarism. I think the USMC is tough enough to withstand a little criticism and protest.
I remember reading about vietnam, the end of Rambo 2. I guess nobody supported the troops then. You gotta judge the decision makers. The military men and women, they just want to help protect the country. Not their fault we go to wars.
Just wanted to address the ridiculous accusation that Dr. Ben made here about me not believing in God. I do in fact believe in God. But unlike your god, my God is a wise, loving and compassionate God. My God in no way condones murder. My God actually wrote a law against murder. It is very simple and has NO exceptions and needs NO explanations. Thou shalt not kill. No ifs ands or butts.
Black and white my man, right there on the page for all those who wish to accept and follow his loving and compassionate ways: Thou shalt not kill. Unlike your god my God does not condone war. My God would not approve of the neo-con, oil baron, greedy, lying, war mongering, murderous, vengefulness that your god obviously accepts. Good luck with your warring, wrathful, vengeful god. I am sure he is real pretty and has some really fun times in store for you.
Your God seems very selective. Whoever threatens with any possibility of attacking US and allies, your god does not punish those whoever YOU think good or bad. It is YOUR personal judgement.
The USMC is not created for war in Irak or in Afghanistan. The USMC is not all serving for one particular political party. Thus there is no justification of any harassments caused by the code pink and other pacifist hippy morons. Thoese are, in any case, less likely to stand for protecting our freedom.
Patriotism can take many forms, other than supporting military. This is what Japanese learned from the WWII and American people also learned that from Iraq war. I think it is time to think about life of American people, rather than sticking their nose into other countries' issues.
Well, I don't support the way they protest against the US military, but I support their idea.
One big reason is that the size of the US military is too large. Spending more than 50% of budget is used on military, which is the reason why American people can't get good social security system, such as decent health care.
A great deal of that money goes to technology. Want to effect the amount of money? Protest the contracting system.
Haliburton, while in Iraq, was known for ordering an entirely new truck... when they got a flat tire.
There is so much waste in the contracting system, its ridiculous. Protesting and inconveniencing the recruits/recruiters does nothing to stop the waste.
You are right again. Yes, Haliburton is one of evils in the US, sucking the wealth of American citizens. All military spendings are not clear ones, including the price of hightech fighter planes.
Also the US military spends money on unreasonable stuff, such as using a military credit card at a strip club in Japan They spent $20-30k. Some General used military money on his private cruise in ocean.
Recruiting cost doesn't change much even if trying to improve its efficiency.
Negative impact from the stupid law suits is very limited, compared to the military spending. Most law suits are reasonable to protect citizens' rights.
Another big problem in the US is the wealth distribution. A large corporation CEO's are taking too much portion of profit of companies. They don't take responsibility of their poor management. They fire employees but they still take millions even if the company is in deficit.
What I mean is not about recruiting itself, but downsizing the US military itself. The benefits for those veterans are too much, for instance, pension. Health care for veterans is reasonable if they are suffered some illness or injuries from war, otherwise that is not fair to the other US citizens.
Not with you here, BGW. The common military soldier in the US still recieves pay lower than that of the civilian field, and especially when speaking of under E-4's, which make up the majority. The problem is that the US CAN afford health coverage for all, and that it doesn't, not that it covers the military exclusively. To take away this coverage in any form would invite abuse of the soldiers, ALL of which sacrifice to carry out their mission. This is a non-negotiable point.
BoysGoneWild: Good day to you. When a nation is at war, of course the military budget assumes a greater portion of the budget. Fighting wars and maintaining a military is part of the USA constitution. Whereas Social Security and health care are not part of our constitution. Social Security Act was a distortion of federalism and health care is a responsibility of the states, not our federal gov't.
No matter the US is in war or not, the military budget is always taking more than a half of a whole budget. This is too much. Yes, the military exists because of the constitution, but it does not say anything about activities in overseas, but rather limiting its activity for domestical issues.
Well, I understand about Afghanistan but Iraq war was nothing but a war for those corporation business such as oil industry and Huliburton. The facts were distorted by Bush administration for their profits. What I really hate about is he and Cheney didn't care sacrificing own people's blood in order to achieve their greed. That is a totally anti-Christ action.
On the other hand, the Constitution doesn't say the US military works as a police of the world. Ideally, the UN should function as a world police, but it doesn't work that way because of the defects in a security council system.
Any country could choose wrong leaders, such as Bush or Koizumi. Koizumi had big popularity while he was running his cabinet, but many realized that what he has done really collapsed Japanese society. I knew he is an idiot when he became a prime minister already.
The Iraq war is already proved it was a fixed game by Bush administration and still a lot of facts are exposed by agencies in a past few years.
PB, wake up! Both liberalism and conservatism use propaganda to gain their profits. It is not a oneside thing. We have to observe what they are really trying to do. That's why I'm not on neither side in general. I don't trust most of politicians.
The purpose of sending the US military has been changing all time. After the WW2, it was a fight against communism. Korean and Vietnam Wars are the examples. After the collapsion of communists in Easten Europe, Kosovo and Somalia are the examples. The US was helping them for their freedom.
The US has been self-confident as a world police. I agree that before Iraq War the US was doing a fairly good job in terms of that.
I outta strongly disagree with your point of view reffering to pre and pro cold war periods. Because there is no sudden nuclear war situation, many insurgent groups changed their tactics of fighting against the US and the allies. Do you think any diplomacy or UN resolution longer work against non-government? I certainly do not think those insurgents (or terrorists) would ever listen. What could the UN provide for the security in Irak? retreat the military and leave them alone?
Your question is a very tough one, but it is also creating a contradiction by itself.
If Iraq had WMD's and Husein was a crazy guy who might use them, why didn't he use them? If you say they were hidden in Syria, why they did that if they were said to be crazy people who might use them? After all, Husein was not that crazy enough to use them or WMD's themselves didn't really exist at all.
No Iraq has no WMD, but Saddam refused to let the inspectors entering into country. Do you also trust DPRK? Iran? Maybe the UN could negociate, but I see no point asking the UN to deal with insurgents and the non-government terrorist groups are most likely threatening. The UN can do something, only if it is any nation, but non-government groups? the UN is useless.
In case of Iraq, they were not terrorists, but the gevernment under control of Husein. Al Qaeda is independent from Iraq government so that you can't apply to what you are saying. They came into Iraq to fight against the US, otherwise Husein wouldn't have let them in because they didn't get along each other.
Mahdi Army under al-Sadr which the government of Iraq has been trying to eliminate, however the insurgents are around 60.000 now. No western nations apart from US and UK have tried to solve. Actually it was also a big mistake by the Iraqi government. Iran is the nation which has been trying to solve.. where are other western nations? only complaining.
I'd hardly say Iran was involved to 'solve' anything. They love this opportunity to get a few jabs out on the US/UK, highlight the errors that have occurred, gain Iraqs trust. Iran is interested in the money and control that everyone else is interested in. The further point (beyond WMD) of going to Iraq was to stabilize/secure it, in part for its oil reserves. Not the whole reason, but a factor. In steps Iran after the US/UK have done the hard part of deposing a powerful tyrant.
It's funny how the wingnuts come out in force on Holidays... This one must be your favorite. Your mentor's birthday tomorrow. Happy birthday Hitler... Here's some wingnuts that are waitin' to join ya... Won't be fuckin' soon enough. Rid the earth of all you maggot slime.
Yeah your right moron, that proves it. Thanks for proving MY point with that statement... Have a good holiday tomorrow fascist mutherfucker...
Oh no, swear words.. Guess that proves I'm a liberal huh?
You guys are a joke. God and history will be our judge. I am sure my team will come out on top. Enjoy your spot in hell. I am sure Propaganda Machine will save you a seat...
I have never known a liberal not to resort to swear words when their arguement is falling apart by the seams. You don't believe in God, remember Rodney, so don't worry about me. I am sure it's medication time for you and your "team". Lighten up, have a laugh. The world is a great place.
I am light. I just get pleasure out of insulting fascists, imbeciles and morons such as you and PB. I do believe in God, just not your god. Your rhetoric is ridiculous. I can say the same thing. I have never known a Nazi, Fascist, military veteran/personnel or neo-con to not resort to swear words when they were not only losing but for the entire debate. You and PB are actually the only ones who hold back and I respect that. But you two have it comin'.
I am fed up with your rhetoric and propaganda. It's gettin' old. I give up on you guys. We had a couple good debates and some laughs but it's just not worth the frustration you pig-headed imbeciles create. You just can't stay rational and logical. You can't even look at the big picture. You go around with those neo-con blinders on. You folks are a fuckin' joke. You can play with yourselves and pat yourselves on the back now. I am done. I am sure were all relieved about that...
And no, it doesn't mean you win, remember your mentor Hitler didn't give up either, we took just his ass in the end, it just took a little doin'. Have a good holiday...
PS you guys lost already anyhow. Code Pink gets to keep their parking spot indefinitely, the Berkeley City Council did not repeal or retake their stance and congress and the state has destroyed the bills that attempted to sanction Berkeley. The war's over... See, my sides already commin' out on top... Even without the medication. How does it feel to be a big loser?
Is it the only question of who won or lost? Any harassment is considered to be the act of winner, then how the military would like to protect those hippies from any possible conflict? No hippy should represent any government around the world.
As I said; the bigger picture is not code pink. Take off your blinders and look around. It's a beautiful world outside when you are not blinded by propaganda, the neo-cons, fascists and mainstream news media. It's not about code pink. It is about liberty, freedom and justice.
Not to mention putting an end to the destruction of our economy and historically high national debt that this asshole neo-con king is producing. The dollar is worthless now. All the major international markets have dumped their dollars and switched to euros.
No thanks Kingpin. I'll do my own thinkin'. You obviously have never tried it. "Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it" -Henry Ford
Hey PB, isn't ironic how commies like Rodneykingpin cry for the dead in Iraq during this war on terror yet they were conspicuosly silent while Iraqs former madman leader killed hundreds of thousands of innocent peoples, used chemical weapons on his own people and neighboring countries, engaged in genocide, and used wanton rape and torture to intimitdate the Iraqi people. It's sick that they have more sympathy for the terrorists than their victims or those trying to help the Iraqi people.
Look into the eye of a typical true neo-con and then look into the eye of a true liberal, not a communist, a liberal, there is a difference much to your dismay. You look into their eyes, or better yet have a psychotherapist look into their eyes. Then you tell me with whom the sickness truly lies. Who would Jesus Bomb Propaganda Machine? Tell us, who?
You do know that Al-Queda is a CIA founded, funded, armed and operated organization. And Saddam was scouted, trained, armed and put into power by the US, yes. This is not conspiracy it is White House, pentagon and CIA declassified documentation.
PB you know I love your videos but I have to disagree with you here. I normally would concur that a peaceful approach is the most appropriate way to demonstrate your views but these people are long overdue for a good ass kickin'.
See, there ya go. Spoken like a true American neo-con fascist Nazi inbred redneck fanatic that you all are. Violence towards woman. Go kick those woman's asses boy. I am sure it won't be the first time you beat on a woman. A true patriot.
Not only American neo-con fascist Nazi inbred redneck fanatic as you call do not think what the Code Pink has been doing is a disgrace. Many people think the Code Pink is too radical communists like people who care nothing but themself. Without Military, how those pinkos can protect the nation which has been severely under attack for no valid reason. Singing pacifist songs, smoking joints or stealing social money do not bring any peace.
Did you even watch any of these code pinkos videos Rodneykingpin? I saw plenty of men, or rather girliemen, there on the sidewalk. Were they relatives of yours? Which pink shirted fairy were you? While I don't condone men beating on women it is of little matter since I know plenty of women that will kick their asses too.
hardtarget22: I can certainly appreciate your emotion on this issue. However I would still urge no violence towards these drones. Leave that to their significant others and to the misery that must be their lives. The best way to hurt them is to contribute to the success that is America. For whenever America succeeds, it is like adding a nail to their coffin or pouring water on the wicked witch. Or just laugh at them, as laughter is their kryptonite.
PB, you're right. And it's more anger at how these people abuse the rights they are given (anfd have not earned) that drives my comments right now. People like this can just infuriate me sometimes. They have no concept on what real freedom is. They think it's a warped values system and moral relativism; freedom from consequences of their actions and the burden of duty to your country which has provided to them in abundance. The freedom to take FREEDOM for granted. Sick. Just sick.
Its hardly "sick." Rather, its the POINT. Freedom goes both ways, after all. It isn't just for you and who you think are 'right', but also for them. While legally CP has no right to block access, they have every right to cry and whine as they please. Thats part of the reason US freedom is so infectious, and why immigration to the US remains strong even in a lousy economy.
You'd be surprised who has earned their freedom, and how. Or go on assuming they haven't if it justifies your anger.
Owned indeed. You folks have been owned from the start... Just because you are good at spreading lies and fascist traitorous propaganda does not mean that you own shit. The fact is that it is a bullshit war run by bullshit traitorous neo-con war criminals.
I did not mean the latin root. I meant from where the word liberal derives in the English language. Basically the same thing anyway though. It basically describes one who represents liberty and yes, freedom. Is there something wrong with that? Oh yes, I forgot, you right-wing-nut-job fanatics are into oppression in every shape and form. I really don't care about code pink. Most of them are loons. Some of them are not.
This is really not about the minute group being code pink. It is about their cause. It is about the overall outrage and protest of this war and the recruiters that are sending our loved ones and fellow Americans off to die in it under the guise of "serving their country" and "patriotism", taking advantage of their age and immaturity and their ignorance of the truth of what this war really is all about. This is an OPEC war period. This cannot be debated.
The US invaded Iraq because Saddam sold 1.2 million in oil for euros for the first time since OPEC inception.
This is no reason to kill 4,5, 10 thousand Americans. If you believe it is you are a fascist Nazi traitor to this country and for everything on which it once stood. And how do you justify borrowing $360 million a day from the Communist Chinese? That's high treason in my book. Communists? Come on... Especially the Chinese Government...
So you are saying that if Jesus was here today that he would 100% condone and justify the war in Iraq and the slaughter of 100,000+ Iraqi civilians. That is what you are saying? Are you wiling to bet your soul on that? Who got owned?
So you are calling your nation's soldiers fascist Nazi traitors? You know they give their life so that idiots like you can get on Youtube and post absurd comments. Jesus did not and would not get into the politics of the day. He job was to save souls. Even ones like yours. How many civilians did Sodamn Insane kill when he was in power? Remember the Kurds? How do you justify that? Did we here a peep out of you then? Nope. What about 9/11? Oh, I forgot you believe in conspiracy theories.
Oh ya chickenhawk? The guys on the ground want to come fucking home imbeciles. I talk to them every day. Many of them. The Iraq Veterans Against the War organization is the fastest growing organization in the world. Last year it had only 3000 members today there are 9,700+ and growing every day. Do you think the average GI on his 3rd or 4th tour is gung-ho about this war?
You are brainwashed mainstream media sheep being led to the slaughter by the lying propaganda that the two of you and all the neo-cons and other fascists like you represent. And yes, I am a liberal and proud of it. The definition of a liberal is one who represents liberty. Remember, for which America stands? Or have you completely been brainwashed to the other side? What are you anti-liberty? Are you against liberty? Remember the root of the word liberal is liberty.
Where are your heads? How far buried up your rear ends? Who would Jesus bomb? If Jesus was here today would he represent the oil-barons, war mongers, war machine stock holders, the murdererors kiling civilians in Iraq and neo-cons? Would Jesus be hangin' out with good 'ol Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld? Or would he represnt liberty and the liberals? Tell us the truth. Stop ignoring the question. WHO WOULD JESUS BOMB?
Samuel Johnson - "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel."
You claim brainwashing, then question others liberty? You know NOTHING of the REAL state of our military, and you would question liberty due to someones pro or anti-war status. You know NOTHING of the freedom you scream about.
I love it when liberal idiots think that a 14 year veteran like me is a "chickenhawk". IVAW? please. Half of them are fakes. And are you really trying to get your info from them? THEY ARE LYING TO YOU. I talk to the real vets in my unit all the time. There isn't a month when we don't get people just back from deployment. I will trust them over the backstabbing cowards in IVAW any day.
Funny. Here I am LIVING with those deploying military personnel, and they can't wait to deploy and do the jobs they've been trained for. Yes, some grow to dislike the military lifestyle, and the current deployment schedule is tough, but the 'average GI' that hates doing his job remains a minority.
You may think its easy to parrot out pseudo-truths like that, but you will always be countered by the truth.
As I said: If you support the current chicken-hawk neo-con oil-baron war- mongering president that is only looking out for his own, his families and his stock holders best interest, who is completely destroying the economy, who is waging an undeclared, unconstitutional, illegal and unjust war, if you support this administration and the actions of this war and what it is doing to the national debt, the economy and the war torn families and the loss of US troops life on a daily basis...cont...
if you support borrowing $360 million dollars a day form the Communist Chinese to fund this war as the administration has ben doing for several years now, and a war to feed the US sick foreign dependancy on oil, you are in fact a traitor to this country and our constitution, this point cannot really be argued.
A true patriot would not support this administration and this war in ANY way. A true patriot would see that this war is a total wash, the president has lied many times to get us into it, the majority of the congress and the general populous believes it's time for it to end. The national debt and the economy are ridiculous and this administration and this war has brought us too it.
History, yes even the conservative's account of history will judge this war, this administration, this war and it's supporters as traitorous and nothing else. As one who has studied world, US history and political science at the upper division university level for many years I believe I may be able to say this with at least a slight bit of authority.
But he does reepeat the liberal "I hate america" talking points quite well. Again we see someone who has not been in iraq saying how much better he sees the situation than the guys on the ground.
If you're looking to rodneykingman as an example of productive liberalism, then you're looking in the wrong place... this "liberalism is a mental disorder" line is getting old, PB.
You fall into the same over-generalizing lines that rodneykingman does, except you'd cling to the opposite extreme. To be liberal is to be progressive, and progressiveness leads to change. Womens expression, anti-war opinions... these are not the things destroying America. IGNORANCE and extreme lines are.
I have somewhat similar idea as you do. I'm not taking neither liberalism nor conservatism as evil. But those extremists of both are the problems. Extreme conservativism often leads to dictatorship and extreme liberalism often tends to abuse the human rights by overprotecting some group of people. But we didn't have a freedom of speech if liberalism took in place hundreds of years ago. We wouldn't even have a right to vote if it didn't happen. Conservatism is needed to protect own people.
That sign was Photo-Shopped Mr. Propaganda Machine. This is common knowledge. And they are not "defacing". The military is defacing our country with the blood of our brave troops, blood being traded for oil, Mr. Chicken-hawk. You are not "patriotic" if you support an illegal, undeclared, unjust, unconstitutional, unpopular war that is bringing our economy and our military to it's knees and killing thousands of our soldiers in the name of foreign oil dependancy. In fact you are a traitor.
How can I be a traitor when I am not part of the Democratic Party leadership or one of the perverts in Hollywood? Do you think perhaps I work at CNN or The New York Times?
Wether oil war or not, what the pinkos are doing is no more than harassment.
The Code Pink should appreciate their freedom is protected by the US constitution, meantime they are not happy about the USMC recruiters who are actually civil servants doing their jobs to serve for the nation. Why not those pinkos protesting in Tehran, Baghdad, Afghanistan, Pakistan or Pyongyang?
Those pinkos are only damaging US interests in all around the world.
As much as i recommend that young men find other occupation other then the military, if they what to join, let them.
I dont wanna see these ladys in pink stop our boys. And in addition...why pink!!! is that trying to feminize our boyz? Iam not saying we have to be war mongering....but we can't be a bunch of panzy, crying, emotional men if it comes to total war!Code pink is what too extreme and out of its head
First amendment protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression. Americans have fought and died for that right and you can not take it away from them even if you do not like what they say. With that being said they would not have that right if it wasn't for the Military (Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines and yes even the CG). We are guaranteed those rights not just because of a piece of paper but because of the ones that have fought and died defending that piece of paper!
well the first amendment also protects us on what we do in the same way!so really the comment u made was dumb.so it come down to what u think is right and i personly think the pink code is wrong disrespectful and dumb with facts and only looks at the bad and not the real idea!!i will be there even if its a 4 hour drive.
How can you say your american with a straight face. One thing that disustes me with america is that you have let your republic down and along with it the ethics of freedom have been destroyed, your consitution is in tatters. This is an open message to America, how could you let them get away with all of it?!?!?
Thats it, where is my rifle? Im going to kill those Pink B!@#!$!$!!!!!

BoeingRules 3 years ago
Name "that particular nation being the main player of a war."
It seems to me that the US is at war, not many other countries are and usually dont go to war for the wrong reasons such as we did.
Have you been to other countries, they have the right to protest also, people like you act like the US is the only free country in the world and I invite you to travel the globe to realize that we are not so special.
Sweden, Norway, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Canada, Netherlands, all are free.
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
Not really no you can get arrested there for inciting hate in the US you can't. Just a few months ago a woman in Canada was arrested for posting hateful anti gay things on the internet.
LeeroyFan101 3 years ago
In Sweden, Norway, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Canada, you get arrested for inciting hate? In all of these countries? If thats the only difference thats ok with me. In the US you get arrested for protesting and being addicted to drugs. In other countries you get freedom of speech and TREATMENT for drug addiction, not INCARCERATION.
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
Nope you do not get arrested for protesting if you have a permit for it. Well why should we not arrest addicts? They willingly broke the LAW, you know the set of rules society has agreed upon to create harmony in society. Drug addicts are only victims of their own stupidity and irresponsibility.
Your statement contradicts itself since I already pointed out you can and will be arrested for speaking hateful things so by definition that is no freedom of speech.
LeeroyFan101 3 years ago
Ok,Do we arrest alcoholics or tobacco addicts? No, and let me guess its not the same because its semi-legal, THEY ARE STILL DRUGS, just like Oxycotton. What about legal prescription drug addicts? Arrest them? No, we dont. WHY NOT arrest drug addicts? BECAUSE IT DOESNT WORK, about 60% of inmates are NON-VIOLENT drug offenders.I was always taught that locking someone in a cage should be a last resort, and used for VIOLENT people, not pot smokers.
Duh man, you cant yell fire in a theatre, same thing
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
If you want to split hairs, thats also no freedom of speech.
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
Does the Constitution say anything about a permit? No it doesnt. Type in "Protesters arrested" on YouTube here and I guarantee you see protesters being arrested. Amy Goodman, a reporter for Democracy Now was arrested at the DNC convention. She had media credentials for covering the protests, but she was arrested and detained
We live in a police state so quit talking shit about how Europeans do things. No one is perfect, especially the US
The Canadian police dress up as Protesters and throw rocks
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
No it does not but it mentions that the state can have their own laws if its not disclosed in the constitution and most states require you to have a permit to have a protest because PUBLIC property is for the PUBLIC meaning everyone not just you because you wanna spend the next 12 hours of your day protesting.
Me talking about Europeans? Hmm if I remember correctly it was you that brought up Europeans into the convo stating that well in Europe they allow free speech and I debunked that.
LeeroyFan101 3 years ago
Yes I mentioned their right to protest in Europe WHICH IS TRUE. THen you mentioned "inciting hate" which is different than protesting. Remember also, in the US we have something called inciting a riot which you cant do.
Look man, you cant yell fire in a crowded theatre or threaten someones life. No country has absolute free speech. This is why you should act like we have it better than the Europeans. Thats my point. You can disagree, but at least address this.
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
*shouldnt act like we have it better...........typo
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
Well there's a difference in hate speech and inciting a riot. hate speech is speaking negatively about a certain group of people and such, inciting a riot is suggesting violence and making threats and thats illegal.
So its not really counted as speech anymore its counted as a threat.
LeeroyFan101 3 years ago
Yes I understand this, my point is that Europe outlaws one type of speech, we outlaw another. Therefore neither has absolute free speech. Correct? No it is counted as speech, both hate SPEECH, and inciting a riot.
If you want to split hairs, inciting hatred can also be a threat.
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
Did you get my message? Hit me back.
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
Yes its not the same because its legal. Thats what it all comes down to legal or illegal. You can argue all you want about that but if society says its illegal then its illegal, end of story.
LeeroyFan101 3 years ago
yes but illegality doesnt equal fair or just.
Is this fair?
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
There is nothing fair in the real world. Rules are not necessarily supposed to be fair, rules are supposed to keep order and harmony.
You seem to approach everything with more of a emotional stand point rather than a logical one.
LeeroyFan101 3 years ago
That is fine. My argument is that it is hypocritical to not lock up alcoholics and cigarette addicts and also prescription drug addicts, but to lock up drug addicts. THESE THINGS I MENTIONED ARE ALL DRUGS. DRUGS ARE DRUGS. Right?
Are these laws keeping order and harmony? Not in my opinion, these drug laws are flooding our prisons, again 60% being NON-VIOLENT offenders.
I approach things with a rational view, putting my socialization aside. You fail to be able to do that, and thats the diff.
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
We have the most people in Prison in the world. Are you proud of that? We have more than COMMUNIST China, or Russia. IF you think filling up the prisons with NoN-Violent offenders is a good idea, think again. Where are we going to put the VIOLENT offenders?
I believe a Democracy can be measure by the number of NON-violent offenders serving time in Prison.
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
Thats why most rules are broken, THEY ARE NOT FAIR.
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
Well fair or not its still the law and I don't give you thumbs down so I dunno why your accusing me of that.
The bottom line is society decides what the rules rules are and since our society shuns the usage of narcotics its illegal if most of us though we should use narcotics then obviously the law would be changed to accommodate what we want.
The law is the law thats the end of it. You can complain how unfair it is but its still gonna be there and your gonna have to obey it.
LeeroyFan101 3 years ago
My bad, someone keeps giving my comments a thumbs down right after they post.
Actually, our society has legal narcotics, they are at the pharmacy, and they are more dangerous than the pot that I would DE-CRIMINALIZE.
If we always accept things as they are then we will never progress as a society. The laws are not working and thats my point. Has drug use gone down? No. Im not an idiot, I understand its the law, but THAT DOESNT MAKE IT RIGHT MAN, I guess you just dont see that.
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
It seems like you take the attitude that if we make a mistake then we should stick with it just because we made an earlier decision which lead to that mistake.
Call me an idealist but I believe we can do better. How can you stop someone from using a narcotic that they can make themselves (meth). Meth is the new moonshine.
This leads me to believe that prohibition never works as well as regulation and control. Let me say that again, prohibition never works as well as regulation and control.
skeetrosauce 3 years ago
Well your arguing your ideals with me and I really don't care since I'm only stating facts.
LeeroyFan101 3 years ago
No your not. Your making me prove myself, which I am having no trouble doing. Your looking for flaws in my argument and ideas, but you provide no better argument or solution.
I said Europeans have free speech, and you said you debunked that.
You cant debunk something that is true. They have free speech, in the same manner we do, however, their laws are worded different.
Care to try again with your "straight talk" facts Mr. "I dont take a position."
I conclude that you stand for nothing.

bigredtaxi 3 years ago
If people want to support their country, i think that is fine. I think the CodePink people have good intentions, but they are just a little misguided (they should be targetting the governemnt).
The Iraq war have nothing to do with US secuity (as the CIA and other intelligence agencies have repeatedly said). Calling people un-American for not supporting a war which has killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people is nothing should of ridiculously stupid.
bigredtaxi 3 years ago
the code pink people are retarded. If they dont stand for protecting our freedom they can go to another country that doesnt have half the privlages we have. People take so much stuff for granted. If it wasnt for war we would have slavery about 1 quarter the United states and we would be controlled by other nations. W
Parsons94 3 years ago 3
The people that are doing the protest needs to go to a country that doesn't enjoy the freedoms we have here and see how they like it. They have a right to protest because many people have fought and died and continue do fight and die for that right. We are a free country mostly because we have such a strong military to defend our freedoms.
1920bears2008 3 years ago
Seems you touched a nerve with this one, PG. ^_^
DeadlyChinchilla 3 years ago
You are right. That is the reason why I don't think this is the right way to protest. If they want to stop youth to join marine, they should start educating them. As you mentioned, ignorance is sin. In fact, there is a black Vietnam War veteran who educates young kids in a ghetto to let them go to college rather than joining military. He believes poverty and a lack of education are the main reasons for minority to join military.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
People should not join the military because they need a job, live in poverty or want to go to collage. One should join the military because they value our freedom! We need well educated people in the military, we don't have enough of them. Sometimes you have to sacrifice your own needs and wants to make sure others can enjoy them.
1920bears2008 3 years ago
Well, for officers, yes. They need well-educated officers, but not true for foot soldiers in marine or army. If you have a chance to visit bases in Japan, you will see those guys appreciate freedom to party rather than freedom in political matters. Even American business men in Japan don't like to deal with those guys. You will be disappointed.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
Don't forget, the majority of those men are YOUTHS, 18-24. They'll party no matter what profession/college they're in. Thats part of the young lifestyle of the military, work hard, play harder. The problem is they are NOT adults.
The simple truth is that the GI bill allows those who would miss college new opportunities, nothing wrong with that. Conversely, I know MANY Marines, enlisted at that, with 2+ degrees from before/during their military time. It isn't all the stereotype.
DeadlyChinchilla 3 years ago
The military is a unique experience that offers training and on-the-job work. Its a vital thing in a world of inexperienced college graduates, and may give them a leg up in an economy where graduating simply isn't enough to get you a good job. This isn't a bad thing, that the military attracts those who want a job, are in poverty, or want college. Its a rare opportunity for those who are willing to serve for a few years, one they will NOT find in the unmerciful civilian business world.
DeadlyChinchilla 3 years ago
its your definition of patriotism. you dont take into consideration that one can be patriotic, and have similar views as Code Pink, that is to be against militarism. I think the USMC is tough enough to withstand a little criticism and protest.
thescreamingid 3 years ago
I remember reading about vietnam, the end of Rambo 2. I guess nobody supported the troops then. You gotta judge the decision makers. The military men and women, they just want to help protect the country. Not their fault we go to wars.
BrandNewAge 3 years ago
Just wanted to address the ridiculous accusation that Dr. Ben made here about me not believing in God. I do in fact believe in God. But unlike your god, my God is a wise, loving and compassionate God. My God in no way condones murder. My God actually wrote a law against murder. It is very simple and has NO exceptions and needs NO explanations. Thou shalt not kill. No ifs ands or butts.
rodneykingman 3 years ago
Black and white my man, right there on the page for all those who wish to accept and follow his loving and compassionate ways: Thou shalt not kill. Unlike your god my God does not condone war. My God would not approve of the neo-con, oil baron, greedy, lying, war mongering, murderous, vengefulness that your god obviously accepts. Good luck with your warring, wrathful, vengeful god. I am sure he is real pretty and has some really fun times in store for you.
rodneykingman 3 years ago
Your God seems very selective. Whoever threatens with any possibility of attacking US and allies, your god does not punish those whoever YOU think good or bad. It is YOUR personal judgement.
The USMC is not created for war in Irak or in Afghanistan. The USMC is not all serving for one particular political party. Thus there is no justification of any harassments caused by the code pink and other pacifist hippy morons. Thoese are, in any case, less likely to stand for protecting our freedom.
takasito 3 years ago
Patriotism can take many forms, other than supporting military. This is what Japanese learned from the WWII and American people also learned that from Iraq war. I think it is time to think about life of American people, rather than sticking their nose into other countries' issues.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
BoysGoneWild: "other countries issues" do affect the life of American people.
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
Good evening, PB.
Well, I don't support the way they protest against the US military, but I support their idea.
One big reason is that the size of the US military is too large. Spending more than 50% of budget is used on military, which is the reason why American people can't get good social security system, such as decent health care.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
A great deal of that money goes to technology. Want to effect the amount of money? Protest the contracting system.
Haliburton, while in Iraq, was known for ordering an entirely new truck... when they got a flat tire.
There is so much waste in the contracting system, its ridiculous. Protesting and inconveniencing the recruits/recruiters does nothing to stop the waste.
DeadlyChinchilla 3 years ago
You are right again. Yes, Haliburton is one of evils in the US, sucking the wealth of American citizens. All military spendings are not clear ones, including the price of hightech fighter planes.
Also the US military spends money on unreasonable stuff, such as using a military credit card at a strip club in Japan They spent $20-30k. Some General used military money on his private cruise in ocean.
Recruiting cost doesn't change much even if trying to improve its efficiency.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
BoysGoneWild: Have to disagree here, it are the lawyers sucking the wealth of American citizens.
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
Negative impact from the stupid law suits is very limited, compared to the military spending. Most law suits are reasonable to protect citizens' rights.
Another big problem in the US is the wealth distribution. A large corporation CEO's are taking too much portion of profit of companies. They don't take responsibility of their poor management. They fire employees but they still take millions even if the company is in deficit.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
What I mean is not about recruiting itself, but downsizing the US military itself. The benefits for those veterans are too much, for instance, pension. Health care for veterans is reasonable if they are suffered some illness or injuries from war, otherwise that is not fair to the other US citizens.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
Not with you here, BGW. The common military soldier in the US still recieves pay lower than that of the civilian field, and especially when speaking of under E-4's, which make up the majority. The problem is that the US CAN afford health coverage for all, and that it doesn't, not that it covers the military exclusively. To take away this coverage in any form would invite abuse of the soldiers, ALL of which sacrifice to carry out their mission. This is a non-negotiable point.
DeadlyChinchilla 3 years ago
BoysGoneWild: Good day to you. When a nation is at war, of course the military budget assumes a greater portion of the budget. Fighting wars and maintaining a military is part of the USA constitution. Whereas Social Security and health care are not part of our constitution. Social Security Act was a distortion of federalism and health care is a responsibility of the states, not our federal gov't.
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
No matter the US is in war or not, the military budget is always taking more than a half of a whole budget. This is too much. Yes, the military exists because of the constitution, but it does not say anything about activities in overseas, but rather limiting its activity for domestical issues.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
Please show me where in the U.S. Constitution it limits the military role for domestic issues?
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
It is in "Militia Clause".
"To provide for calling forth the militia to execute the laws of the union, suppress insurrections and repel invasions"
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
"repel invasions" is exactly what the USA military is doing now. Thank you.
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
Here, a war in Iraq is not an invasion case. Have Iraq ever tried invading the United States? No.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
Nor will they ever be able to. 9/11 changed the whole composition of how and when America goes to war.
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
Well, I understand about Afghanistan but Iraq war was nothing but a war for those corporation business such as oil industry and Huliburton. The facts were distorted by Bush administration for their profits. What I really hate about is he and Cheney didn't care sacrificing own people's blood in order to achieve their greed. That is a totally anti-Christ action.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
The war in Iraq has everything to do with terrorism.
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
On the other hand, the Constitution doesn't say the US military works as a police of the world. Ideally, the UN should function as a world police, but it doesn't work that way because of the defects in a security council system.
Any country could choose wrong leaders, such as Bush or Koizumi. Koizumi had big popularity while he was running his cabinet, but many realized that what he has done really collapsed Japanese society. I knew he is an idiot when he became a prime minister already.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
Absolutely demolished the society hugely based on socialism. The real meaning of capitalism which the PM you reffered brought in here.
takasito 3 years ago
The Iraq war is already proved it was a fixed game by Bush administration and still a lot of facts are exposed by agencies in a past few years.
PB, wake up! Both liberalism and conservatism use propaganda to gain their profits. It is not a oneside thing. We have to observe what they are really trying to do. That's why I'm not on neither side in general. I don't trust most of politicians.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
The purpose of sending the US military has been changing all time. After the WW2, it was a fight against communism. Korean and Vietnam Wars are the examples. After the collapsion of communists in Easten Europe, Kosovo and Somalia are the examples. The US was helping them for their freedom.
The US has been self-confident as a world police. I agree that before Iraq War the US was doing a fairly good job in terms of that.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
BoyGoneWild
I outta strongly disagree with your point of view reffering to pre and pro cold war periods. Because there is no sudden nuclear war situation, many insurgent groups changed their tactics of fighting against the US and the allies. Do you think any diplomacy or UN resolution longer work against non-government? I certainly do not think those insurgents (or terrorists) would ever listen. What could the UN provide for the security in Irak? retreat the military and leave them alone?
takasito 3 years ago
Your question is a very tough one, but it is also creating a contradiction by itself.
If Iraq had WMD's and Husein was a crazy guy who might use them, why didn't he use them? If you say they were hidden in Syria, why they did that if they were said to be crazy people who might use them? After all, Husein was not that crazy enough to use them or WMD's themselves didn't really exist at all.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
Hans Blix?
No Iraq has no WMD, but Saddam refused to let the inspectors entering into country. Do you also trust DPRK? Iran? Maybe the UN could negociate, but I see no point asking the UN to deal with insurgents and the non-government terrorist groups are most likely threatening. The UN can do something, only if it is any nation, but non-government groups? the UN is useless.
takasito 3 years ago
In case of Iraq, they were not terrorists, but the gevernment under control of Husein. Al Qaeda is independent from Iraq government so that you can't apply to what you are saying. They came into Iraq to fight against the US, otherwise Husein wouldn't have let them in because they didn't get along each other.
BoysGoneWild 3 years ago
Mahdi Army under al-Sadr which the government of Iraq has been trying to eliminate, however the insurgents are around 60.000 now. No western nations apart from US and UK have tried to solve. Actually it was also a big mistake by the Iraqi government. Iran is the nation which has been trying to solve.. where are other western nations? only complaining.
takasito 3 years ago
I'd hardly say Iran was involved to 'solve' anything. They love this opportunity to get a few jabs out on the US/UK, highlight the errors that have occurred, gain Iraqs trust. Iran is interested in the money and control that everyone else is interested in. The further point (beyond WMD) of going to Iraq was to stabilize/secure it, in part for its oil reserves. Not the whole reason, but a factor. In steps Iran after the US/UK have done the hard part of deposing a powerful tyrant.

DrBenDoverHere 3 years ago
Yeah your right moron, that proves it. Thanks for proving MY point with that statement... Have a good holiday tomorrow fascist mutherfucker...
Oh no, swear words.. Guess that proves I'm a liberal huh?
You guys are a joke. God and history will be our judge. I am sure my team will come out on top. Enjoy your spot in hell. I am sure Propaganda Machine will save you a seat...
rodneykingman 3 years ago
I have never known a liberal not to resort to swear words when their arguement is falling apart by the seams. You don't believe in God, remember Rodney, so don't worry about me. I am sure it's medication time for you and your "team". Lighten up, have a laugh. The world is a great place.
DrBenDoverHere 3 years ago
But you two have it comin'.
rodneykingman 3 years ago
I am fed up with your rhetoric and propaganda. It's gettin' old. I give up on you guys. We had a couple good debates and some laughs but it's just not worth the frustration you pig-headed imbeciles create. You just can't stay rational and logical. You can't even look at the big picture. You go around with those neo-con blinders on. You folks are a fuckin' joke. You can play with yourselves and pat yourselves on the back now. I am done. I am sure were all relieved about that...
rodneykingman 3 years ago
And no, it doesn't mean you win, remember your mentor Hitler didn't give up either, we took just his ass in the end, it just took a little doin'. Have a good holiday...

PS you guys lost already anyhow. Code Pink gets to keep their parking spot indefinitely, the Berkeley City Council did not repeal or retake their stance and congress and the state has destroyed the bills that attempted to sanction Berkeley. The war's over... See, my sides already commin' out on top... Even without the medication. How does it feel to be a big loser?
rodneykingman 3 years ago
Is it the only question of who won or lost? Any harassment is considered to be the act of winner, then how the military would like to protect those hippies from any possible conflict? No hippy should represent any government around the world.

As I said; the bigger picture is not code pink. Take off your blinders and look around. It's a beautiful world outside when you are not blinded by propaganda, the neo-cons, fascists and mainstream news media. It's not about code pink. It is about liberty, freedom and justice.
rodneykingman 3 years ago
Not to mention putting an end to the destruction of our economy and historically high national debt that this asshole neo-con king is producing. The dollar is worthless now. All the major international markets have dumped their dollars and switched to euros.

It's sick that they have more sympathy for the terrorists than their victims or those trying to help the Iraqi people.
hardtarget22 3 years ago
hardtarget22: that is the sickness known as liberalism.
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago

See, there ya go. Spoken like a true American neo-con fascist Nazi inbred redneck fanatic that you all are. Violence towards woman. Go kick those woman's asses boy. I am sure it won't be the first time you beat on a woman. A true patriot.
rodneykingman 3 years ago
Not only American neo-con fascist Nazi inbred redneck fanatic as you call do not think what the Code Pink has been doing is a disgrace. Many people think the Code Pink is too radical communists like people who care nothing but themself. Without Military, how those pinkos can protect the nation which has been severely under attack for no valid reason. Singing pacifist songs, smoking joints or stealing social money do not bring any peace.
takasito 3 years ago
Did you even watch any of these code pinkos videos Rodneykingpin? I saw plenty of men, or rather girliemen, there on the sidewalk. Were they relatives of yours? Which pink shirted fairy were you? While I don't condone men beating on women it is of little matter since I know plenty of women that will kick their asses too.
hardtarget22 3 years ago
hardtarget22: I can certainly appreciate your emotion on this issue.
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
PB, you're right. And it's more anger at how these people abuse the rights they are given (anfd have not earned) that drives my comments right now. People like this can just infuriate me sometimes. They have no concept on what real freedom is. They think it's a warped values system and moral relativism; freedom from consequences of their actions and the burden of duty to your country which has provided to them in abundance. The freedom to take FREEDOM for granted. Sick. Just sick.
hardtarget22 3 years ago
Its hardly "sick." Rather, its the POINT. Freedom goes both ways, after all. It isn't just for you and who you think are 'right', but also for them. While legally CP has no right to block access, they have every right to cry and whine as they please. Thats part of the reason US freedom is so infectious, and why immigration to the US remains strong even in a lousy economy.
You'd be surprised who has earned their freedom, and how. Or go on assuming they haven't if it justifies your anger.
DeadlyChinchilla 3 years ago
Owned indeed. You folks have been owned from the start... Just because you are good at spreading lies and fascist traitorous propaganda does not mean that you own shit. The fact is that it is a bullshit war run by bullshit traitorous neo-con war criminals.
rodneykingman 3 years ago
I did not mean the latin root. I meant from where the word liberal derives in the English language. Basically the same thing anyway though. It basically describes one who represents liberty and yes, freedom. Is there something wrong with that? Oh yes, I forgot, you right-wing-nut-job fanatics are into oppression in every shape and form. I really don't care about code pink. Most of them are loons. Some of them are not.
rodneykingman 3 years ago
This is really not about the minute group being code pink. It is about their cause. It is about the overall outrage and protest of this war and the recruiters that are sending our loved ones and fellow Americans off to die in it under the guise of "serving their country" and "patriotism", taking advantage of their age and immaturity and their ignorance of the truth of what this war really is all about. This is an OPEC war period. This cannot be debated.
rodneykingman 3 years ago
The US invaded Iraq because Saddam sold 1.2 million in oil for euros for the first time since OPEC inception.
This is no reason to kill 4,5, 10 thousand Americans. If you believe it is you are a fascist Nazi traitor to this country and for everything on which it once stood. And how do you justify borrowing $360 million a day from the Communist Chinese? That's high treason in my book. Communists? Come on... Especially the Chinese Government...
rodneykingman 3 years ago
So you are saying that if Jesus was here today that he would 100% condone and justify the war in Iraq and the slaughter of 100,000+ Iraqi civilians. That is what you are saying? Are you wiling to bet your soul on that? Who got owned?
rodneykingman 3 years ago
So you are calling your nation's soldiers fascist Nazi traitors? You know they give their life so that idiots like you can get on Youtube and post absurd comments. Jesus did not and would not get into the politics of the day. He job was to save souls. Even ones like yours. How many civilians did Sodamn Insane kill when he was in power? Remember the Kurds? How do you justify that? Did we here a peep out of you then? Nope. What about 9/11? Oh, I forgot you believe in conspiracy theories.
DrBenDoverHere 3 years ago 2
Oh ya chickenhawk? The guys on the ground want to come fucking home imbeciles. I talk to them every day. Many of them. The Iraq Veterans Against the War organization is the fastest growing organization in the world. Last year it had only 3000 members today there are 9,700+ and growing every day. Do you think the average GI on his 3rd or 4th tour is gung-ho about this war?
rodneykingman 3 years ago
You are brainwashed mainstream media sheep being led to the slaughter by the lying propaganda that the two of you and all the neo-cons and other fascists like you represent. And yes, I am a liberal and proud of it. The definition of a liberal is one who represents liberty. Remember, for which America stands? Or have you completely been brainwashed to the other side? What are you anti-liberty? Are you against liberty? Remember the root of the word liberal is liberty.
rodneykingman 3 years ago
Where are your heads? How far buried up your rear ends? Who would Jesus bomb? If Jesus was here today would he represent the oil-barons, war mongers, war machine stock holders, the murdererors kiling civilians in Iraq and neo-cons? Would Jesus be hangin' out with good 'ol Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld? Or would he represnt liberty and the liberals? Tell us the truth. Stop ignoring the question. WHO WOULD JESUS BOMB?
rodneykingman 3 years ago

Harassing the Marines is not the solution in any case. You can go protesting Mr al-Sadr's self army in Baghdad wearing your pink t-shirt.

I will trust them over the backstabbing cowards in IVAW any day.
sonofdy 3 years ago
I bet you don't even know code pink was formed after the invasion of AFGANISTAN and opposes both operations.
sonofdy 3 years ago
DeadlyChinchilla 3 years ago
As I said: If you support the current chicken-hawk neo-con oil-baron war- mongering president that is only looking out for his own, his families and his stock holders best interest, who is completely destroying the economy, who is waging an undeclared, unconstitutional, illegal and unjust war, if you support this administration and the actions of this war and what it is doing to the national debt, the economy and the war torn families and the loss of US troops life on a daily basis...cont...
rodneykingman 3 years ago
if you support borrowing $360 million dollars a day form the Communist Chinese to fund this war as the administration has ben doing for several years now, and a war to feed the US sick foreign dependancy on oil, you are in fact a traitor to this country and our constitution, this point cannot really be argued.
rodneykingman 3 years ago
A true patriot would not support this administration and this war in ANY way. A true patriot would see that this war is a total wash, the president has lied many times to get us into it, the majority of the congress and the general populous believes it's time for it to end. The national debt and the economy are ridiculous and this administration and this war has brought us too it.
rodneykingman 3 years ago
History, yes even the conservative's account of history will judge this war, this administration, this war and it's supporters as traitorous and nothing else. As one who has studied world, US history and political science at the upper division university level for many years I believe I may be able to say this with at least a slight bit of authority.

That is liberalism.
PropagandaBuster 3 years ago
If you're looking to rodneykingman as an example of productive liberalism, then you're looking in the wrong place... this "liberalism is a mental disorder" line is getting old, PB.
You fall into the same over-generalizing lines that rodneykingman does, except you'd cling to the opposite extreme. To be liberal is to be progressive, and progressiveness leads to change. Womens expression, anti-war opinions... these are not the things destroying America. IGNORANCE and extreme lines are.
DeadlyChinchilla 3 years ago
Supporting the troops = fascist
The USMC = war criminals
I think those are typical generalizations by "extreme" people, although the idea is from the biased Media or their ignorance.
takasito 3 years ago

Chinese military might be able to start any military action when they want, without instructions from head quarter of Communist party.
