well for 1 thing u can reflect deku scrub seeds. well, i wouldnt say reflect but the point is to dodge the seed and shoot the scub with slingshot/ fareie bow ect. ive dont it trust me
It's impossible to beat the gaME WITHOUT A SHIELD, HOW DO YOU REFLECT THE DEKU SCRUBs seeds? Impossible, you people will never learn... And don't say you used cc to get out of the forest. Zelda's escape cutscene doesn't PLAY if you do that, so you need a shield to beat the game.
Shoot them with the Slingshot/an Arrow. Obviously, you can't beat the entire thing without a shield, but it's very possible to go through 95% of the game after getting your slingshot. Simply burn your shield when you can, and don't equip the Hylian Shield until it's really needed, then ASAP, feed it to a Like-Like. Besides, if you did do the CC method, you wouldn't be able to win.
This always seems random with me, sometimes i'll do it no problem and other times i'll fail miserably, its weird. Very nice tho i usually have to roll all the way through.

You can lose your shield to fire. "Beat the game" means defeat Ganondorf and Ganon with no shields equipped to you.
