Good information. Thanks. I prefer Sign to English for expressive conversation, but I love English written poetry, and prefer Spanish poetry spoken. I guess it is for the same reasons that in science, for communicating, I prefer Mathematics... it is more effective, clear, and therefore more beautiful to me. I suppose we are all multi-lingual, if we really thought about it, and we will just always use what works best for us in the medium we are working. I am learning.
I appreciate your time you put in the videos. Hey, I know you have gotten really bad comments that insults the deaf communities but you gotta remember that whoever did that was an inconsiderate jackass. Their time of judgement will come and God will punish them for that. If you ever get more then just ignore them. My parents are deaf and I find it very hard to interpret for them (even though they can read lips) when people just stare at us.
I am newly hard of hearing, and am learning ASL in once a week classes with a private tutor.
I really prefer to use ASL. My hearing friends can't understand why. I find it beats the frustration of having fluctuating hearing problems.
Since I can't rely on my very unstable hearing, ASL sure beats my wanting to constantly slam my head into the nearest wall again, and again, and again, in frustration. Much fewer headaches this way.
I wish my hearing friends and acquaintances could understand.

Great Vlog!
I agree with other comment. The v and flip v is a perfect way of explaining English/ASL thinking.
Thank you!

This is great! I am hearing CODA and I struggle with English. I totally relate to your V and upside down V. Very good. Keep up good work!
