The whole story wasn't told here. It was the blacks who started it by going downtown with their guns. The whites stood up to them. Its unfortunate that innocent people were killed or hurt. But "prejudice" doesn't happen without reason - just look at how violent young blacks are and prone to crime. Its no wonder blacks didn't like them. It's about the horrible things that are an undeniable part of our history and for some reason are kept in the dark, why isn't this talked about in schools? not so my friend.. the tulsa burnings is still taking place even to this day but in differant ways. things like not giving blacks loans to start businesses when foreigners and whites get loans very easily and other things like redistricting the city and purposely charging black business men higher prices for goods - forcing them to sell at a higher price than their competitors which lead to business failures and many other things too numerous to mention. we are a people in captivity

That is ture, I know survivors and many of them are between 80 and 100. The supreme court has dismissed the case, so they're not going to get payed. A church there did raise money and give it out to the survivors.
