she sounds EXACTLY* like she does on her album ! she is AMAZING :))) clearly she doesnt edit her voice like most of the singers today !!! AWESOME REBA, I LOVE YOUUUUU <3333
What an awesome live version of this song!!!! No wonder she is going to be inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame. Love Reba and always will. She has an awesome voice and could sing anything. Thanks for posting one of my favorite songs by Reba. Thanks again :) :)
This is a song that reminds me of my childhood in all its melancholy glory. She has one of those voices that reverberates, like Tammy Wynette. I saw heard a duet with Reba and Andrea Bocelli, and she absolutely holds her own. What a talent.
I loved that! I love Reba and andrea has this beautiful voice...to hear them sing together was amazing! now if only she would record a song with Dolly...or Celine Dion...that would perfect this world! (for me anyway) lol
Yes m'am, that was the duet I was referring to in my post, which seems to have been hastily edited, unfortunately-- LOL. "saw heard"--like "might could"... ;P
I'd love to hear Reba and Dolly, too! She and Celine would be interesting, as well. I think both are open to different musical genres, so the possibilities are endless!
haha its ok...we all make typos...especially late at night...yea reba and dolly have to record a duet and soon! it would be awesome if they had a whole album of the two of them...some duets some solos...wouldn't that be the best album ever? and i wud love for celine to sing country! that would be cool! I've heard her sing in almost every genre...but not country...so that would be so cool!
@SinginPrincessLaura Isn't it umbelievable that Reba has never recorded with Dolly?! They are such fans of each other and Dolly could write something wonderful for them. Parton is a fantastic songwriter.
@whiskbizqit I say ditto to that! Every time I hear that song and "Whoever's In New England" I get this nostalgic feeling of my childhood. I remember seeing Reba McEntire in concert at Radio City Music Hall many years ago. There was this new (at the time) duo at the time (we just MIGHT be familiar with Brooks and Dunn) that opened up for her! Boy did THEY become BIG! Anyway, that show was one I will never forget. Great video!!
best female singer ever...some of the modern singers do kinda aerobic on stage, just to get the high notes...reba stands there as if she was in the kitchen, washing dishes....what a voice!
my "on-line love" sent me this, I understand better now hun

Reba darling, you're country's reigning queen with very good reason, but your clothes choices in the eighties could have used a little help.
xoxo!

It was so hard to get her music here in Germany in that time. A friend from USA sent me her tapes. Will never forget that time and music.
