The harms of drug prohibition are real. Because prohibition creates a black market, only criminals sell drugs, and children are innocent bystanders. We must speak out about the criminal law enforcement tactics that create this reality.
I hope that this reaches the hearts of parents and young people both- all of us need to speak out, and it is up to adults to set the example that we won't tolerate ugliness in our communities, and that we see it as our responsibility to protect the more vulnerable among us- the elderly, the children, those who are less able to speak up and protect themselves for ANY reason!
