  • Il joue vite mais pas plus vite que la musique ... Du grand art.

Bcp de subtilités. Le son n'est pas toujours bon cependant. Le jour ou je jouerais ça, les poules auront des Rolex.

  • I have his recording of the complete Liszt etudes and legends. I must say he has tremendous technique but not much else.

  • lol

  • Une sonorité d'exception, un jeu dynamique, bravo Monsieur Duchable

  • Son aisance technique n'a d'égal que sa sensibilité ...

    Extraordinaire pianiste !!!

  • Only fingers.

  • He got techniques,

  • I have long thought him the best of his generation of French pianists and was shocked and saddened by his decision to end his concert career. Thank you for posting this; it is a thrilling performance!

  • He's excellent ... with Beethoven's concerti

the number 5 is the better ... I love it ... well it's just too much beautiful !!

  • come on, guys - Duchable's technique in this performance is formidable.

I'm sure he's interpreting it exactly as he thinks it should be played.

I'm sure he could interpret it in many more ways - more than we could possibly imagine...

  • @guitarmanK1982 all those critics because he's french and has a bad temper !!!

  • @flouz2 and that he throw a piano in a river,XD

  • Good technique, but what is the message?

    Where is the music? Disappeared.

  • For me it is the most suitable interpretation!

Did you listen to Pollini? Or Cziffra?

    Duchable is just outstanding!!

  • By what stretch of the imagination is this better than Cziffra ?

  • By what stretch of imagination is anyone better (better said: more touching) than lugansky? =)

  • @kummeldoppio don't be jealous !!!

  • le meilleur pianiste français (pour moi)

l'interpretation est meilleur que celle de Berezovsky.en plus ca façon de "penser" la musique est hors du commun!

  • Up to know, I always considered Duchable *just* as a technician. This interpretation of Liszt's 10th transcendental étude just infirm it : he's a true poet !

Alas, he stopped his concert career ... I would never listen to him live =(

Jaques, I confirm than Pleyel pianos are wonderful. Much more expressive than Steinway, in my opinion.

  • Up to now*

  • The piano he is playing on is awesome, and in many respects much better than the Steinway, it's a Pleyel. It's my favorite, I had one.

  • fantastico questo pianista

  • "This man plays almost exactly the same interpretation as Berezovsky." or cziffra ^^

very nice but not my favorite ...

  • way too fast.. i think..

  •

  • This man plays almost exactly the same interpretation as Berezovsky.

  • What "interpretation"? He plays the same notes and the same speed as Berezovsky! But interpretation is something different... He has no interpetation at all, he plays like a robot! Fast, clean and dry.

  • Similar to Berezovsky then.

  • @liszt80 are you sure that's dry?? I think it's very clear and what is a etude need.!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!
