  • That is why it is good to know your contigent leaders. And the ability to vote.

  • GOP scum

  • Comment removed

  • Honestly I have no problem with blacks or other minorities, but when people immediatley say that if you associate with the Republicans, then you're racist, if you don't like a person who happens to be black, then you're racist, and if you say something to a black, then that's the worst thing in the world and the government pounces on you and you get fired or fined, but if they say something to you, the they are defending their right to free speech, Tolerance is just ignoring,NOT EXPLORING!

  • Another steaming pile of bullshit from a brainless leftist maggot.

  • Racist Republicans have finally gotten the balls to come out and show their complete stupidity, trying to get the votes of the lowest scum in the United States.

  • Most of the racism in this video can be found in Rush Limbaugh's comments. That guy constantly bitches about lazy black people and Barack Obama. Rush is nothing but a parasite of society. He gets paid millions of dollars a year to do nothing except scare white people by screaming into the microphone. That guy does nothing to help America, he is merely there to divide the public and bring us down.

  • How shocking, it's mainly just a bunch of people on MSNBC bitching about the GOP

  • White people will see a hardworking blackman, who wants a job and not hire him. Then see a bum and say thats ALL blacks. They r so full of shit. People see what they want to see. I guess when I see all those white pedophiles I should make the same observation. White people r self absorbed pedophiles.

  • @IronPatriot26 Through the eyes of a bigot only bigotry exists.

  • Anybody who thinks that blacks cannot swim hasn't visited the Caribbean.

  • GOP = KKK

  • @dashawnthl Actually if you read your history and understand it Democrats are the KKK and you are a dullard for beginning to say that.Reconstruction did not reconfigure the parties as Democrats would like you to believe.Look up these famous democrats and read about them...progressive democrats. Woodrow Wilson, Jim Crow, Lyndon B. Johnson(1950s senate majority leader and passer of a republican civil rights bill the one MLK was protesting for.) and your favorite Democrat Senator Byrd. (SC-D)thnx.

  • @YTisSpyWare My elders told me the stories. At one point in the 1950 Demorcrats were what the Republicans are today (racist) Lyndon Johnson signed the civil right bill causing most of the racist in the Democratics to leave & go republican and most blks jumped ship from the repubs & when Democrat. My Dad always says "Im not saying if you a Republican, your a racist, but most likely if your a racist your a republiican. With the dems i see a rainbow of ppl, but not with the repubs

  • @dashawnthl LMFAO the republicans and the democrats switched between 1954 and 1963? The whole party affiliation just stopped? You need to read the history yourself. LBJ blocked in the senate from 1954-1960 the passage of civil rights. The vote on civil rights in 1963 would not have passed if not for all but 8 republicans voting for it....check the percentage of dems who voted for it? You are being lied to constantly. The party of racism chains you to welfare.

  • @YTisSpyWare How ever you look at it, the republican party isnt the same party it was 50 plus years ago. It is now KKK 2.0. Even when you watch all of the republican events you only see a sea of white faces where as you look at a democratic event you see a rainbow color of different ppl. I could never understand why a black person would ever vote for a republican. Even micheal steel said when asked "why should a blks join republicans" he said "there is no reason." KKK without hoods

  • @dashawnth Is that your only argument? All republicans are racists? Is that making your life better? I could run down a million points of how Democrats in the past decade have destroyed the black community but what is the point? I could bring up Trenton, Detroit, Newark,Philadelphia, Gary and Chicago. But to what avail? Do you smile a lot? I hear ignorance is bliss. It is easier to cry racism than learn anything. This is why blacks cannot get jobs. Not whites, its in the mirror.

  • @dashawnthl I am not going to sit here and argue with you about racism. It is only a political card and if you leave your house every once in a while. You will see that Americans are Americans. Racists are morons and there are plenty in all races. Decrying that a group is racist because people choose not to join that group is in itself racist. You like the uneducated nonwork committed life. That is why you are Democrat. Not because of racism.

  • @YTisSpyWare I never said all republicans are racist (my best friend's a republican) . What i said was if your rasict most likely ur republican. And i find that only a racist/moron would asume that because someones blk & vote democratic they're uneducated & dont work "You like the uneducated nonwork committed life." I had the same job for 10 yrs. Why do you repubilcan asume blacks dont work or are uneducated (you share the same sterotypes of black as this video, racist sterotypes)

  • @dashawnthl And yet you assume to never answer any points. Which is why you are uneducated. You come back with this racist bullshit..Everything is racist. Except the people you support worship the same racists you opine as the Republican party. When in essence the people who are ENSLAVING YOUR PEOPLE to WELFARE AND GOVERNMENT are the SAME PEOPLE YOU VOTE FOR. You DO NOT understand FREEDOM nor do you understand YOUR OWN CULTURES PLIGHT. You're an imbecile. A Pawn. Call me racist more.

  • @YTisSpyWare And yet you paint yourself as a racist by assuming black ppl vote democratic because their " nonwork commited life" which are your words not mine. You display the same mentally as the scumbags you vote for. Blacks have vaules and have been voting democratic for years, but yet their suppose to throw all their values out the window to support a party that views them in a negetive light. You & your party are the one's making negetive sterotypes not me.

  • @dashawnthl My party? I am a libertarian. Values? Is that what causes drive by shootings? Is that what causes people to get shot over shoes? Is that where you leave your child to the state to educate them? Those are all impressive values. Seriously. You would think you would try to verify some shti I've typed but no being a stupid black moron you just come at me with more racism bullshit fuck off and there is a reason you are a total failure in life. You self pitying loser.

  • @YTisSpyWare Lol... More tea bagging sterotyping..Great one!! I guess it's libertaian values that cause kids to shoot up innocent kids(columbine) in school every three years or for serial killers that like to eat ppl or almost cause a whole race of native ppl to almost became extinct. Those are Nice tea bagging values scam bag.

  • @YTisSpyWare I hate to bust your bubble but not all blacks are in gangs and do "drive by shootings and shot ppl over shoes your ignorance is a match of your Tea Party republican party racist values and yes it is your party.

  • @YTisSpyWare Your saying blacks value drive shooting is like saying all inbred white trailer trash like you enjoy fucking you sister and mother. Your comments and this video goes hand and hand and it's inbred trailer trash like you that keep alot of minorities from even thinking about voting for a republican. Now go crawl back in your trailer and fuck your sister billy bob. Obama 2012 bitch

  • @RealSpit777 I find it funny that people like you even attempt to insult someone. If you want to get moronic cool...You dumpster living, Wal-Mart shopping, condom poking, mother of 14, welfare receiving, bottom tier, 5 dollar blowjob hermaphrodite. Does your moronic monkey ass even understand racism you tree swinging jail time serving cotton picker. Congratulations!!!! U got ur dum nigga ass sirvd sun. You illiterate fucking moron.

  • @YTisSpyWare And yes I am saying blacks values are that. Listen to your rap lyrics and your 14 kids own words you witless fuck. A group of people so stupid they cannot distinguish You,Your and You're is a group of people who are the EXACT problem in society...Then you throw in Obama 2012...That shows what you know about anything...just go get your check on the first and 15th and stay home November 4th.

  • @YTisSpyWare I bet your some fat ass white piece of trailer trash that drinks beer all day and fucks you inbred sister. Go creep back into your trailer and rape you mother inbred hick. Obama 2012

  • @RealSpit777 I am not your mothers pimp. Sorry, I mean I am not your father. Keep searching. ....Just to be clear I don't pay my internet bill with other peoples tax money.

  • Look @ this Bullcrap.. Racism is so alive in America and the Republicans are showing this daily, with all the racist comments that they are making.

  • Goodbye Obama. It wasn't nice knowin ya.

  • Waaa. What a bunch of cry babies commenting here. Sounds like a lot of self-consciousness going on here. How is calling a Obama the Foodstamp president racist? LOL. Do you just assume he must be talking about black people? Cause that actually sounds more racist. Dumbassess. Why don't you all keep showing how mad you are by continuing to kill each other off. Because black on black crime is off the charts!

  • This is the most embarrassing GOP race I have ever witnessed.

  • Rebublican idiot actions is the reason why Obama will win in 2012, love it or hate it or move out this country....

  • Black folks are the most racist of any group I've ever met. They even gay castigate their own for being darker skinned. Fuck their hypocritical asses. Like they some freeloving hippies who accept everyone. My ass! They cant stand how the Hispanics seem to be getting ahead either. Get to shit together!

  • Most blacks will admit they can't swim, and don't want to learn either.

  • You call this racism?! Bahaha.

Obama and Rev. Wright are much more radical in their rhetoric when it concerns race.

  • @SingleMaltBuckeye Moron.

  • @mueygringo If I didn't pity your mental illness & lack of anything fulfilling in your life, I'd actually be interested in your comment. I guess you'll blame all doctors for the error of 1 doctor too. You're pathetic.

  • @upabittoolate My YouTube account is working better than before. I got a free upgrade. It must have been your reporting me.How did that marriage proposal go on youtube. Now that is pathetic.

    FAIL!!

  • @upabittoolate My account must have been suspended because you said it.

You are extremely stupid. I believe the words to describe you is IDIOT FAIL!!!

  • @mueygringo Really?

  • @upabittoolate IDIOT FAIL!!!

  • How is calling Obama the Food Stamp President racist? It's the truth - worst person to ever occupy the White House - plus, he cannot even prove he is legally able to hold the office.

  • @evilunixuser1 The truth is that just as many people went onto food stamps under this president as did under bush. Does that make Bush a food stamp president too? The difference is that under the Obama administration the country was by the hardest recession since the great depression, and this recession was set in full swing by the financial collapse in November 2008.

  • @fram4153 not even close.are you selling your food stamps to buy whatever your smoking?

  • @evilunixuser1 so exactly what has he done to assert himself as the worst president ever? Ending one war outright, and effectively ending another war by ordering the attack that took out Osama? or making college education for ALL people more affordable? or supporting and passing legislation to give women equal pay for equal work? or reducing the unemployment rate? oh you know what, thats right... all of those are SO bad and SO scary. And I'm pretty sure he released his Birth Certificate

  • pretty much why GOP is headed by nothing but old silver haired, fucks.. The good news is more and more of them keep dying every year.. fuck em.

  • The Civil Rights Act was a referendum on Jim Crow, so it's no surprise that white conservative southerners opposed it and switched to the GOP after LBJ signed it. The House votes (y-n): * Southern Democrats: 7-87 * Southern Republicans: 0-10 * Northern Democrats: 145-9 * Northern Republicans: 138-24 The Senate votes (y-n): * Southern Democrats: 1-20 * Southern Republicans: 0-1 * Northern Democrats: 45-1 * Northern Republicans: 27-5
  • LBJ pushed the Civil Rights Act in 1964 despite knowing that his party risked losing the South. As expected, racist white southerners switched to the GOP after the Act's passage.

Miss, Ala, Louisiana, South Carolina and other southern democratic states immediately switched to the GOP for the first time since Recontruction and have remained republican ever since.

The Party of Lincoln became the Party of Jefferson Davis worshippers... Black voters noticed it too and have avoided the GOP since.

  • "The Republican Party geared its appeal and program to racism, reaction, and extremism. All people of goodwill viewed with alarm and concern the frenzied wedding at the Cow Palace of the KKK with the radical right. The "best man" at this ceremony was a senator whose voting record, philosophy, and program were anathema to all the hard-won achievements of the past decade."

Martin Luther King, Jr - July 16, 1964 (after segregationist Barry Goldwater won the GOP nomination).

  • And they accuse Ron Paul of being racist... the agony, the irony; they're killing me woah! (RP 2012!!!)

  • Gingrich is a fucking troll who needs to be stomped

  • @9fires says 9fires as he sits under a bridge while munching on a goat.

  • What difference does someone else's "racism" make to you if you don't have and can't find a job,if you are out of work and about to loose everything do you feel better about it because someone is or is not in your judgement a racist, racism is a personal matter and it will never be completely eliminated, how about we return to just doing what is best for the country as a whole and quit trying to dictate to people what their thoughts, opinions and words should be,anybody can lie and say they love u

  • @SongSwan Permanent only in the minds of those who are unwilling to fight it. The same people who said Slavery would be permanent said black people not having the right to vote would be permanent, that Segregation would be permanent, that Apartheid would be permanent, and that the ban on gay marriage would be permanent. It's lazy politics used by the right wing to convince the left and independents not to fight. It is weakness of the mind and soul to say "it's not worth trying."

  • @fram4153 You fight it,some of us have to make a living and don't have time to obsess over the thoughts and attitudes of others much less the desire to control them

  • @SongSwan The liberal left and the DNC needs to continually reinforce the belief that all the troubles faced by the ethnic minorities come from the GOP. If the blacks voting population were to return to the GOP, where they happily resided about 50 years ago, there is not a single Democrat who would ever again be elected.

So the DNC continues to expand its entitlement programs while forever casting the GOP as the evil racists who want to take away the redistributed wealth.

    It's vile.

  • and when are conservatives going to realize associating your self with ronald regan doesnt help you get the black vote black people HATE ronald regan unemployment was down becuase he was prez during the crack epidemic litterly millions of minorities either said fuck work and sold drugs or were users they ignore that and they rememeber who as in charge during that time all the top drugs lords from freeway ricky ross etc have said they were supllied by the govt

  • @dmdpro5 What on earth are you talking about?

Libs regularly mocked the war on drugs during the 80's, and some of them now what to legalize some for ... -get this- ... tax revenue. As if using gambeling, alchohol, and tobaco for tax revenue was not bad enough.

Want more drug addiction and more welfare dependence? Keep voting democrat.

As for me, I will never vote for a man who says in so many words, "If I do not get what I want, Granny gets it."

  • bill o'rielly is an ass there are more white people on food stamps becuase there are more white people in the u.s of course there will be more if you go by percantages its blacks and hispanics bill is looking a stricly numbers you can do that becuase there not an eaqual amount of blacks and whites in the u.s they ignore logic

  • Blacks are not the greatest swimmers!!!!KMSL...WTF...STOP HATIN MAAAAAANNNN!!!!

  • @MrJaguars7 "I have known Tramm Hudson for many years and I have seen the entire video of his remarks to the Christian Coalition. I do not consider what he said to be a racist remark. Tramm has apologized to me in person, although I don't think one is necessary, but I accept his apology without reservation. He is a good, decent, family man with a good heart"

    - Trevor Harvey, President NAACP of Sarasota County

But I guess that just makes Trevor an "Uncle Tom" right?

  • The long term consequences of their words and coded language will result with revulsion to the Republican Party and to the conservative movement which has a history for discrimination that now will lose long term because we as a nation cannot forget nor forgive these words and statements. Minorities will one day become the majority & the time will when these words will haunt them & be used against them...

  • To sugest that a larger chunk of non-whites are DOOMED to be forever dependent on welfare is not coded racism. It is BLATANT racism. You patronizing libs make me sick.

  • @QUINTIX256 When conservatives argue against minorities to the point where they seek to gain political points by basing lies and coded language against my race and other minorities, they create the means for their own downfall. Minorities will very soon be the majority in this country. Countless times the GOP has functioned to discriminate against us for immediate rewards and sacrificing long term gains in minority circles. They are cutting their nose to spite their face & will lose

  • @DarkMagus1985

You have _completely_ missed the point

Under house speaker Gingrich's leadership, by enacting much of the contract with america, the median income of non-whites *increased*. The unemployement rate among non-whites *decreased*

Think about that for a moment. INB4 coorelation vs causation

  • If you don't get it, go home to your country make that workout for what ever but we are no longer in the day where evil lies and racism hatred and nationalism. Welfare huh 70% of the people are Caucasion 12 % other and the other % hispanic, but you can't see that only when you go shopping or steeling. What a fucked up country(ignorant people) whom can not understand that the old way of the KKK tea party etc,.. what ever you call yourself is dead and shall remain dead. No peace to the evil.

  • @ZyionRecords I was going to ignore you comment as the idiocy of the moronic but I really feel that I must address three issues.

    1st, punctuation help.

2nd, in the context you are using it's "steal" not "steel".

3rd the KKK was started by white racist Democrats. The Tea Party was started by folks who wanted smaller government and fiscal responsibility.

  • What cracks me up about all these European people not all but most or the few buying into this racial bullshit is simple this is not your land if you don't like black people or the original gods leave take your ass back home to your original country. Make your land better. People of all colors made this county Asians Hispanics African and Moors as well Olmecs and Indians, all you have done was lie steel kill and get jobs based on politics. you have lynched and raped and now you cry well well

  • tar baby though? wow

  • I HATE THE GOP

  • Racial bigotry at its best!

  • I.... don't know what to say. I'm not liberal by any means (accept maybe Evangelicals') and I find this sickening. Same with the hate for gays.

Despite the reported news letters that have been brought up time and again and repeatedly dismissed by most, Ron Paul is the only GOP candidate who has the slight clue what the fuck hes doing.

  • Did Bill O'Reilly just call out Rick Santorum??

  • Rush Limbaugh = fat braggart

  • Bachmann I wish you and all these other goofy teabaggers would go away 0:56

  • How in God's NAME do rightwinger's even TRY to claim they are not bigot's of the lowest order? These people are disgusting. But, guess what... its not going to get any better. Now that they have crossed all lines of decency and civility... the door is wide open to say whatever comes to mind and their fellow rightwinger's CHEER them all along the way. The right has become a LYNCH MOB.

  • Republican politicians have become dog whistlers and the people that vote for them have the wits of a dog.

  • let's see, tar baby, food stamp president, blacks getting somebody else's money, reparations, civil rights bill, more unemployment, code words undeserving black people, be afraid, black man in white house, shoot hogs from the sky, illegal immigration, deep seated hatred for white people, juvenile delinquent for a president, touching a tar baby, blacks didn't want to work hard in school, blacks aren't good swimmers...enough of the bs from the kkk rethuglicans..rush limbaugh is a fulltime asshole.

  • @KeithGCooper He is fulltime, working a double shift.

  • @KeithGCooper Sorry but the KKK is a Democrat institution. You can believe whatever "code word" bullshit you want. I'll believe in historical proof. It was the Republicans who fought against slavery while the Democrat party fought to keep it. It was Democrat states that created the Confederacy. It was Democrat States that enforced Jim Crow. Bull Connor and George Wallace? Demcorats. Strom Thurmond filibustered for 24 hours against the 64 civil rights act as a Democrat.

  • there's no such thing as a Democrat Party. It's Democratic party. And the civil rights movement caused the racists to leave the DEMOCRATIC party in droves to the Republican partt

  • Comment removed

  • @Tralfaz666 "there's no such thing as a Democrat Party" And there is no such thing as the "Tea Bagger Party" but that doesn't stop the likes of you. As for the oft-repeated yet still factually wrong claim that all the racists up and left the Democrat party to join the party that fought tooth an nail against slavery and for the Civil Rights Act of 64....really? The fact remains that the Democrat Party is the party that supported slavery, supported Jim Crow and opposed civil rights.

  • @KamekoBruns Let's say that you might be right...if we go back to the 60s. Or the 1800s...so what? Who's been doing all the race-bating and fighting against civil rights for the LAST 30 years?

Does the fact that a Republican president--in the 19th century--fought to end slavery mean it's OK that they've now spent the last 3 decades as THE major standard-bearers for race-baiting and unsubtly coded racist dog-whistles in American politics?

  • @dubitandum "Who's been doing all the race-bating and fighting against civil rights for the LAST 30 years"

Uh, the Democrats asshole! Who has been race-bating? Morons like Garafalo, Olbermann and other idiots who insist anyone who disagrees with Obama is racist. You even say it yourself. The fact that you believe the GOP uses "unsubtly coded racist dog-whistles" means that you interpret their words to be racist.

You see racism because YOU ARE RACIST!

    Fucking moron.

  • @KamekoBruns I used to use the same reason you're using. I grew up in a small town in TX. I even would use the same line, "You see racism because you are racist." Then I went to college, grew up, and moved to a multicultural city. And learned A LOT. Now I say, you DON'T see racism because YOU ARE IGNORANT!

  • @strangemachine1 I grew up and live in New York City, the most culturally diverse city in the country. Big fucking deal.

As for my comment I was pertaining to those idiots who believe that "unsubtly coded racist dog-whistles" are used by the GOP. People who make these claims almost always also support racist programs like Affirmative Action and these people see racism in everything because they are racist.

I wasn't saying that racism doesn't exist genius.

  • @KamekoBruns Uh huh. Like most folks with your views, it inevitably comes down to name-calling, doesn't it?

The fact of my completely civil reply to you was a waste of time, I suppose. Curious...did you even WATCH the video?

P.S.: So I'm "RACIST," huh? I'm not white, if that interests you. On the other hand, maybe then you'll think I have a "deep-seated hatred of white people?"

(10 bucks says you don't reply to this.) :-)

  • @dubitandum I love the hypocrisy. Name calling come from "people like me" and yet every time I deal with people like you I am labeled a racist, Nazi or fascist the instant I indicate that I don't agree with Obama. Don't like the tone of my comment? Tough shit.

PS - You don't have to be white to be racist you stupid shit.

PPS - You can send those $10 to the GOP.

    Thanks moron.

  • @KamekoBruns At what point did I call you a Nazi, a racist, or any name?

You never read my comments, I guess. Sad. I never called you any names, nor even implied anything of the kind. Just asked about recent activity by the Republicans--the activity evidenced in the video above.

I'm sorry you're so angry at the world, my friend. :-)

  • @dubitandum So let me see if I've got this right. It's ok for you to label the entire GOP as "THE major standard-bearers for race-baiting and unsubtly coded racist dog-whistles in American politics" but I can't go ahead a lump you in with the rest of the looney left?

Yup, typical liberal hypocrisy I've come to know and hate.

Whatever dude. Live in this dream world you've fabricated but the fact remains that 9 times out of 10 it's the liberal left that pulls race into the discussion

  • @KamekoBruns Both sides are ABSOLUTELY guilty.

I'm just curious how you respond to the stuff in the video above. And am curious as to whether you could assemble--or point me towards--a similar compilation of Democrats saying stuff like that.

I'm just arguing on evidence, here. And I seriously am absolutely ready to be proven wrong.

  • @dubitandum I think for the most part the comments made by Newt were benign. Yes, I think blacks need to find inspiration to move off of welfare. I know a lot of folks who feel a sense of entitlement which is corrosive. We need to get back to fostering a sense of responsibility. Rick Santorum is a fucking moron. Bachmann even more so. Then there are one, maybe two other candidates who say incredibly stupid and racist things. So that's....5 or 6 out of millions of GOP'ers?

  • @KamekoBruns That's fair. And it certainly wouldn't be fair to assume that GOP voters are in lockstep with the loonies who do say these things.

Glad we agree on something! :-)

P.S.: Newt has a brain on him, no doubt about it. And its true that there's a fair amount of opportunistic, knee-jerk piling on to him...by both GOP and liberals.

  • @dubitandum So to argue that the entire GOP is racist because of a few grossly misinterpreted comments and a handful of actual racist comments from low-level idjits within the organization is bullshit.

As for racist comments from the left? How about Harry Reid saying that Obama won because he we a "light skinned" African American who "doesn't speak in a Negro dialect if he doesn't want to."

  • @KamekoBruns At the risk of doing my own name-calling...Harry Reid strikes me as a doddering nitwit. Who passed his brief prime a long time ago.

ANOTHER thing we can agree on. :-)

  • @dubitandum How about Hillary Clinton affecting an urban accent to make fun of San Francisco mayor Willie Brown?

Mike Wallace saying "Blacks and Hispanics are "too busy eating watermelons and tacos" to learn how to read and write."

Then there are the millions of Tweets calling Herman Cain nigger, negro and Uncle Tom.

Representative Dick Gephardt spoke before the Metro South Citizens Council, a now defunct white supremacist organization, during his early years as a congressman.

  • @KamekoBruns No doubt about it: in the south, both parties do an astonishing amount of race-baiting in politicking. Having spent time in the southern states, you see how ordinary it seems to be. Surreal.

I still see more evidence that the GOP brings it to the national discussion--in often ham-handed, thoughtless ways--more often than the Dems, on a consistent basis since I've been paying attention (the 1980s).

But all your examples are totally on the mark, and undeniable. Touché.

  • @dubitandum Robery Byrd, a one-time member of the KKK made far more openly racist comments than Newt ever did, even after he supposedly "converted" from racism.

Democrat keynote speaker Jesse Jackson. He's make tons of anti-Semetic comments.

When Senator Ernest Hollings lost the 1983 Iowa Straw Poll he says "You had wetbacks from California that came in here for Cranston,"

Do you want me to continue?

  • @KamekoBruns Nope. And you've definitely convinced/reminded me of one thing: the state of race in the US is a total clusterf*ck.

And you're absolutely right: no one party or political group can be fairly blamed for it.

  • @dubitandum Historically speaking the DNC was founded on racism. The DNC formed the Confederacy. The DNC supported and endorsed Jim Crow laws. The KKK was founded as the militant arm of the DNC. Bull Connor. George Wallace. Strom Thurmond. Robert Byrd. Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Hugo Black. Billy McKinney.

The list of openly racist Democrats is astounding so to me if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck and looks like a duck it's a fucking duck.

    Have a nice day.

  • @KamekoBruns I think that it pushes the point too far to suggest that, in 2012, the DNC remains "founded" on KKK-style racism. At least, I think our black President might disagree.

But no argument from me on individual racists all over the freakin' place...and on both sides of the aisle.

Have a good day yourself. :-)

  • @KamekoBruns the others I'm not sure of, but Strom Thurmond was a republican.

  • @fram4153 BUZZZ! Wrong! Thank you for playing. We have some lovely parting gifts for you.

Strom Thurmond started his career as a Democrat. He was elected as the Gov of SC as a Democrat and ran for President in 1948 as the candidate for the States' Rights Democratic Party. This party's sole purpose was to extend segregation and Jim Crow laws. In 1957 Strom set the record for the longest one-man Congressional filibuster when he spoke for 24 hours in opposition to the Civil Rights act.

  • @fram4153 In the 70's Strom switched to the Republican party after what he saw as increasing federal encroachment on state's rights by the Democratic Party.

He never openly renounced his views on race but that's irrelevant.

The point is that the Democratic Party is, was and will always be the preferred home of the racist.

  • @KamekoBruns He actually switched in the mid-60s. The political parties that our country has seen throughout its history have changed a great deal in nature over the years. It is true that the States Rights Democratic party were segregationists. It's true that southern Democrats, Dixiecrats, are known historically for supporting racists policies.

  • It is also true that the Democratic party of today is a far cry from the Democratic party of that era, just as it's true that the Republican party of today is not identical to the Republican party of decades ago. To say that " the Democratic Party is, was and will always be the preferred home of the racist" shows either an ignorance of U.S. history or a willful twisting of historical facts.

  • There are racist Democrats and racist Republicans; there are racially progressive Democrats and racially progressive Republicans. It's folly to try to oversimplify the matter. The fact is that the current Republican presidential candidates are using racially charged and racist rhetoric and fear mongering.

  • They do speak for the party in a literal sense, as they are currently the most visible Republicans, but they don't necessarily represent the viewpoints of all republicans, many of whom are ashamed to be represented by such an extreme bunch.

  • @ImaraJohari So when the republicans vote these people into office is because they don't agree with their views? Can you please tell me why are these people in office if they do not represent their views?

  • @TheChicoNerd Yet another progressive liberal who does not seem to understand the concept of "lesser of two evils."

I care fuck all about a President's racial views because, in all honesty, there is nothing the President can do to act on them while in office. The Executive does not set legislation and since the issue of institutionalized racism was settled quite some time ago I care more about their views on policies that actually matter.

  • @TheChicoNerd And on a second note, if you are so concerned with peoples views ought you not be more concerned with the racists in your own midst? Think about the millions of liberals who referred to Herman Cain as a nigger, negro or Uncle Tom in their twitter comments. Think about influential people like Spike Lee who called him an Uncle Tom.

Seems to me there is more than sufficient racism in the DNC rank and file and the bubbles up to the top.

  • @KamekoBruns Of course you would say something like that.. smh. Every one is entitle to their opinion no matter how dumb they are.

  • Comment removed

  • @KamekoBruns The dems AKA Dixiecrats you are talking about are the true DINOS . We all know which party thrives on racism and hatred today . Your pathetic attempt to blame the left is laughable .

  • @mesaeddie "We all know which party thrives on racism and hatred today" Yes. It's the DNC.

Tell me this, which party elected a black man to lead their party first? GOP or DNC?

Which party supports the racist policies of Affirmative Action which tells minorities that they cannot compete with white's so their hiring my be legislated?

Face facts my delusional little moron, a leopard does not change its spots.

You've been fooled into thinking the DNC has changed theirs.

  • @KamekoBruns I guess you didn't watch any of the video or are just not man enough to claim what is rightfully yours . You stay stuck 50's it is right where you belong . If you think I am anything of yours punk prove it .

  • @mesaeddie Yes I did watch the video moron. As for claiming what is "rightfully mine" I left the DNC a long time ago because of it's ingrained and deep-seeded racism and hostility to ethnic groups.

Just because you've allowed yourself to believe that this particular leopard has changed it spots doesn't mean I'm that stupid.

  • @KamekoBruns The saddest thing--for your side of the argument, at least--at that you never even addressed anything in the video.

    You just called names.

    Sad, sad.

  • @dubitandum Uh, actually my first comments in general and to another poster. If you can't keep pace with the discussion don't put it on me.

Then again, responsibility and staying on top of the facts have never been progressive liberal facts.

But since you must know, my response to this video is that if a handful of comments can condemn the entire GOP then I think 150+ years of racism is more than sufficient to condemn the DNC.

As I said, leopards don't change their spots.

  • yea they all make me miss sarah palin but yall had to know this was comming they just use muslim instead of nigger and i hate the race card i really do but we can't be indenial which ask the question if obama lose was it because he was black or was it because he didn't know what he was doing????

  • SO SAD.....

  • BUSH is the biggest food stamp President in the HISTORY of this country only 2nd to Ronald Reagan

  • Why the "Rethugs" will never win...haha they are self destructing, thank you Rethugian party for making this election a piece of cake for our president. :)

  • @deasmiles Democrats are the thugs.

  • Thanks for putting together this collection of blatant racism, though it's difficult to watch. What's worse than the statements of these individuals themselves is that they are fomenting hatred and resentment among their supporters. I suspect that much of this is cynical pandering, which makes it even more despicable. Why does no one among the Republicans object to it? One rarely hears a word of dissent from them.

  • Like watching a dirty snowball of ignorance rolling down a hill... just keeps collecting muck with every turn. There is no excuse for any of it!

  • If liberals really were against racial politics, maybe they shouldn't be defending the brown supremacist pro-illegal alien groups like La Raza or Voz de Aztlan.

  • @StoogeWatcher Get a life. I care that if my country is complicit in marginalizing people by their race. These people are in office- many of them. They are doing the legislating, and they clearly are not even self aware enough of their racism to try to muffle it. They don't even know themselves that those things are racist. To them, they're just "facts."

  • @MrOttopants Grow a brain, Democrat.

  • It's amazing the amount of hate and ignorance you can spew and still get elected in this country.

  • Filthy republican scum

  • Ron Paul For The Win!

  • Nicely done ThinkProgress... though it's painful to watch the hate in such concentrated form.
