My son Ian loved your video. Diagnosed in February 2011, we struggle everyday to find some normal. Ian loves the outdoors especially fishing and wildlife. He just started karate classes last month. So many of your pictures spoke to him and brought smiles to his face. But most of all he shares your faith in God and hopes for a cure.
@maskellmom So glad the video encouraged you. If you ever have any questions about diabetes or more specifically "raising a child with diabetes" feel free to email me or my wife. We have been doing this for 15 yrs. Also I am a pharmacist so I can answer other health problems as they relate to diabetes. Stay close to God and know there is a cure coming. (The artificial pancreas looks very promising).
This is my favorite movie thus far. It just looks like Ethan has really taken life and run with it rather than making a video that's like look at this terrible thing that's happen and that still happens. Ethan is much more like this is what happens and this is what Im going to do with it. Kudos I'm 19 and was diagnosed as 4, it isn't easy but isn't the end either. Good job keep it up.
It looks like he's doing amazing though, and i find it so sad that he's been going through that since 2 years old. I hope he's doing well, and everything. Goodluck, !
