  • Both professions are helping others in their life styles. Whether you are a personal trainer helping those to be physically fit or being a physical therapist that help patients get back to where they were before an injury. The demands right now for jobs are more with physical therapists verses a personal trainer. Please contact me if you would like to discuss further. My number is 630-575-6286.

  • Hello,

My name is Kira Panno and I am a recruiter for AthletiCo. I received your inquiry and I wanted to help you out with regards to a Personal Trainer and Physical Therapist. I want to first start with schooling. For a Personal Trainer you would need to get certified in the field. For a Physical Therapist you need to have your Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and then go on to a 2 year master or doctorate program. So 6 years of school total.

  • I need some advice. Is physical therapy right for me? For starters, I'm not an athlete at all. I've never played a sport and I'm in my senior year of high school. I'm very interested in physical fitness and helping and motivating others to pursue healthy lifestyles. Personal training sounds like a better match for me but I want to make a pretty high salary (at least $60,000 entry level), but most importantly I want to do something that involves physical fitness, and helping others. Please help!

  • Wow, this looks great. Makes a career in physical therapy and fitness even more appealing!
