holy crap.......... I'd thought I'd seen it all. that is just INSANE guitar playing. she's a freak. she's got more talent in her earlobe than most musicians have in their entire being.
Interesting that (given her small speaking voice and demanour) she starts the songs strong, and then towards the end, gets an additional power/depth from somewhere --- two transformations. I believe this song was last before the two encores: Jezebel and then Joan of Arc.
If you watch to the end, when the band comes back for an encore, we are left with the supreme question: What the heck did they play next?? Please? Anyone? Are there any other clips from the Le Luminaire concert?
I thought I already heard the definitive live version (all of which surpass the studio version)..then here everything drops out at 3:00 except shaker..then slowly she creeps back in w/ exquisitely tasteful featherlight twangs, held notes & bends & feedback....and builds the drama (while the backing band responds sympathetically)..then into the stratocastered/telecastered/stratosphere.....help me find my jaw.

Une perle d'excellence, une artiste, une vraie... Grandiose. Femme sublime, de plus ! Elle dégage réellement quelque chose d'exceptionnel. J'adore !
