Don't see a lot of Sens fans at HSBC. A good amount of Habs fans and an even larger amount of Leafs fans though. All total, less than 5,000 I would say. Still, not cool, and a lot of them say "See, Buffalo can't even sell out their arena cause all these Leafs fans are here!" which is bullshit, because the Sabres sold out tonight's preseason game (9-3 beatdown of the Flyers) and 11,500 Sabres fans watched the '08 Winter Classic at HSBC Arena.

Well you must get online like an hour a week lol, cause I saw a flood of horrible, foul shit being said about the US after the 5-3 game and definitely a ton of rubbing salt in the wound after the gold medal game. There's plenty of evidence online of US flags being burned, videos of people running down the streets of Vancouver chanting "Fuck the USA". I can provide links if you must, but save me the time and accept this shit happened.

No, losing by 1 goal is not "getting raped", but allowing a humiliating comeback like that IS. Also, losing 10 regular season games to us in a row is getting raped!

And it's interesting that you say that, because oddly enough when Canada beat the US by 1 overtime goal in the Winter Olympics, many of your countrymen were screaming that the US "got raped". Funny how hyopcritical you people are.

Poor Leafs fans. First Toronto tried to block Buffalo from even getting a team back in the 60's. Then Leafs fans try to make a statement and pull a dick move buying our tickets online, taking seats away from Sabres fans (including families). Then they drive 2-3 hours here, go through the BS at the border, then watch their team get raped and have to drive another 2-3 hours home. They get what they deserve.

@Forestcityred You should hear him on the radio, he gets WAY too excited during regular season games. He is in the HHOF, though, and is a favorite among Leaf fans, I will give him that. Though JB isn't as HORRIBLE as that infamous Tampa Bay radio announcer, he's HORRIBLE, every goal that TB scores, sounds like either he's in labour or being threatened by a killer.
