it doesnt do damage but it teleports you.

indeed, the teleporter does exactly that, but if you drop it on top of somebody it will kill them instantly just like on the video

Yes, I upgraded to 2gb of G.skill RAM (CL4). Everything else is stock hardware.

And I'm not sure if you've ever heard of Temple of Elemental Evil, but if so, do you think it could run it?

Yea. I've run ToEE with 2 gigs. I also ran Icewind Dale 2 just fine. Th e problem is lack of a DVD drive but if you have a USB one its fine.
