Leopards are stealthy, unlike cheetahs & lions they don't go for long distance chases.

They sneak up on their prey and surprise them.

Leopard got so close he barely had to pounce. Damn, I think a human could have caught the thing if he'd gotten that close, that was like 3 feet wasn't it? Assuming he didn't mind a hoofprint or two in the gut while he got his arms around the things neck that is.

Yeah but I was talking about a human hypothetically trying to do the same thing. I have heard that deer are incredibly stupid, have terrible peripheral vision, and if you stand still they can't tell a man from a tree stump, so South American Indians would play a game of red light green light every time a deer looks up while grazing, get right up to it, and be ABLE to kill it without weapons though they'd use a basic spear or bow and arrow or something for good measure.
