Contrary to what you guys may believe .. Great Whites have been found along the coast of North Carolina and much of the east coast. It is however rare, and there isnt a significantly large population at all. To be honest, they are found in all major oceans. Do your research.
Also Im from Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on the Outer Banks and this video was shot roughly between 20-50 miles of the coast of Rodanthe, NC. However the Charter boat was launched from Oregen Inlet. This boat was also filled with mainly local fisherman as well as a few tourists. It was estimated to have been a pregnant female around 12-16ft and garnered attention from CNN and other news shows

If you like sharks check out adoptashark(dot)com where scientists let you adopt a shark that has a satellite tag and you find out where the shark went. They use the money to buy more tags and learn more about sharks

Contrary to what you guys may believe .. Great Whites have been found along the coast of North Carolina and much of the east coast. It is however rare, and there isnt a significantly large population at all. To be honest, they are found in all major oceans. Do your research.

Also Im from Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on the Outer Banks and this video was shot roughly between 20-50 miles of the coast of Rodanthe, NC. However the Charter boat was launched from Oregen Inlet. This boat was also filled with mainly local fisherman as well as a few tourists. It was estimated to have been a pregnant female around 12-16ft and garnered attention from CNN and other news shows

Nope, not a fake; yet, it is a rare sighting off of the coast of NC. Marine biologists believe "she" has been living off of the VA and NC coast for a few years . . . possibly eating the scraps that the fishing boats throw overboard.

nothing to worry about, i've grown up all my life on the outer banks and spent almost every day at the beach in all my summers. i've only heard of two times that anyone i know has seen a shark.
