Wow , the year before i left SkOol ! - I used to live in the house next to where Tom Evans lived and a neighbour who knew him told me lots of storys about the band etc, and how he got to write the song 'WITHOUT YOU' about his beautiful wife - 'aPpy~daZe' - sigh ! - :)

I often mull in my thoughts with this song in the background. It helps me unlock the intertwined tangles of my complex life. Nothing is better than cooking some salmon in foil over a fireplace with this song in the background, downing some bottles of red wine and escaping the realities of life. Weren't the other 2 members of Badfinger fueding or something? I hope they can put any differences they have behind them. Those 2 are survivors adn really need each other in these times of trouble. BadFinger is something they will never be able to erase from thier lives and all the good and bad you need people to back you up in it. The fighting doesn't do anyone. Them the fans or anyone any good for them to carry on like that and fued.

What a great song & what a great time. Badfinger is without a doubt one of the greatest bands ever. Tom and Pete were amazing writers and singers. This song shows what a great writer Tom was.

What a shame that we lost both Tommy and Pete in such a tragic way & we lost them way too soon! They both had a lot of great songs still in them and most of all, they both left their family and friends way too soon.

Great video of their wedding. The song seems to have been written for this video.

Its amazing how different times were back in the 70s. There were big thinkers back then, people were so carefree and open to new ideas. People had the time to explore the grey areas in life, to stop beside the road and smell the flowers. Thesedays everyone is so focussed on their ipods and INSTANT gratification. How I wish the 70s could return. This video really captures the magic of those "egalitarian" times. Love it !! (Great song too I might add).

Wow, I wanna marry Marianne! As described in the book this was a wedding that almost wasn't. Tommy got himself into trouble over another girl and M moved out. T soon realized his mistake and begged for M to come back and get married. Luckily she forgave him and said yes! :) Thanks for this rare, wonderful footage!

There is no home movie footage for Gibbins wedding that has turned up. The few brief clips of the Mollands wedding that still exist had unfortunately been bootlegged and spread across the internet, which I'm sure already have a copy of. This various home movie footage is owned and copyrighted by the Ham and Evans Estates, which they approve for use.
