@TheCabbageLord you know, i would love to! easier said than done my friend. have you ever made a small independent movie? probably not... its not that simple. i dont have any money to fund it, i dont have actors or a crew, nor do i have any of the computer programs to edit it together.

@cheezkid i didnt make independent movies yet but am planning. you should get sony vegas pro 10 as editing, canon eos rebel t3i as camera and 18-200mm canon lens, rode videomic PRO as microphone, any mic stand as a boom pole, a couple friends, and alot of TIME! please dont respond as my ideas are bad but the canon camera is 18 megapixels! its really good! i got mine for $650. @mydarthsidious18 I actually filmed all of this right down the street from my house, there is a lake and lots of trees surrounding it. You can actually see a No Parking sign at about 0:47 lol

@shakearoni Really? Wow, that's awesome man, that means alot to me. Yeah, I hate the fact that I shook when I came out of the water, but it was one take, I couldn't keep going in the water because a cop actually showed up literally right after the camera cuts away when I get on shore, because someone called the cops after seeing me walking down the street wearing a hockey mask and carrying machete (not to mention the lake I filmed at was right next to an elementary school lol)

Cool video, I want to try something similar eventually for a video. Just it's very hard to get people together to do a video and be on the same page. Usually what happens is everyone wants to do their own thing, than the whole video turns into a mess. I'll try to pull something together on my own one day in the near future hopefully.

@SuperMartina97 sweet deal, its always good to get inspiration from fellow fans. I had fun filming this, even though I did basically did everything myself, except the scene where I come out of the water, that was my dad holding the camera. I had to hold a 30 pound weight to keep me from floating up to the top so i would actually be able to sit on the floor of the lake and then jump up on cue.

its hard to film a dark setting when youre using a digital camera, and youre a one person film crew, actor, director and editor all at once. If I could have made the scene dark I would of

I didn't say at night, and yes I have. I own every Jason movie ever made. I just said it was too bright. Meaning that there should have been at least some darker footage.

Not bad. But I think it was too bright, & Jason usually comes out on Friday the 13th...in June. Around the time of his birthday. Snow doesn't fall in the summer. XD But it's not bad for a short film.
