  • Aww, this is so amazing! If I'm honest, I think the singing could be improved but you guys totallt had a blast with this! I'm going to re-watch it JUST because you guys are having so much fun :D Made me happy :)

  • Anya looks like Michelle Trachtenburg . Also it seems like Buffy really didn't want to be there. But it's cute

  • @SweenyTodd98 Well, that kinda fits, because in this episode, Buffy didnt really want to be there :P

  • wow.. this looks like fantastic fun!!

  • You guys are great and you should make another one

  • everything was great but the girl playing buffy needs to put a little bit more feelings into it it seems likes she is bored and not too into it other than tht great

  • The girl who played as Anya looks like dawn/Michelle

  • How fun! I absolutely love it!! :D

  • @sonofrenato You guys did this in one day without rehearsing? That's incredible. You have warmed my heart. I'm a huge Buffy fan and have the first six seasons on dvd sets but have not got to get the seventh one yet. <3 Thank you so much.

  • HAHAHA! I love it!

  • That was great! As a Buffy fan I totally loved it!!! Keep up the awesome work =D

  • ehhhhh sorry but i have to say this made me cringe...as a fan of the show and the musical episode this just was not done well...i mean you get an A for effort, but the talent was less than spectacular, you need people who are not going to look bored and put some effort behind it...you also need to know your lines, there were quite the number of slip ups...and the singing was way off key...sorry but this gets a thumbs down from me...

  • Hmm.. can't help feeling that this is the work of an overbearing closeted gay 46-year-old man, insisting that a bunch of uninspired, downtrodden family members help him to act out his fantasy of being a Scooby. It reminds me of a 'quirky' English teacher I knew who made her class watch Buffy all day, just because SHE loved it but all the students were bored crapless. Imposing your own fanaticism on others is just selfish. I love Buffy myself, but I don't force it down everyone else's throat.

  • @oxfordruse

Your feeling is wrong. The kids are fans and begged to make this. We make a movie every summer. I played Giles because I was the only male over the age of 9. Your comment about my sexuality is completely inappropriate and implicitly homophobic. Why not just say you don't like it because it is amateurish in all departments. Which it is, since it was done in a day without rehearsal by amateurs for fun. What drives you to be so nasty and personal about a harmless home movie?

  • @sonofrenato Except general consensus among all the comments seems to be that the kids just didn't want to be there. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Indeed, I'm being much more generous than a lot of other commenters, who assume their lackluster performances are because they can't act. I don't think that at all; I just know they do not want to be there. And, re. the gay thing: OK, that was superfluous. But don't pretend you don't seem gay. I'm gay, and my 'dar is beeping like crazy.

  • I think we cal all safety say that you have a family that is exponentially cooler than any of ours.

  • This is adorable...but a little painful to listen to.

  • This is appalling... and impossible to watch without cringing.

The fact that they can't sing or act doesn't really bother me as it's obviously just "a bit of fun". The problem there though is that everyone seems SO DAMN BORED, and embarrassed.

I think I'd rather spend a day with the Adams family... they seem saner.

  • It's great! A family that watches Buffy together stays together =)

  • awesome idea!and I like voicessss

  • i think it is okay but get yourselfs some better coustumes

  • um...that was special. but seriously, two are professional actors?? i hope ur kidding.

  • Funny idea, but they can't act and can't sing. Sorry.

  • the singers are WAY off key

  • the girl who plays anya stinks no offense but she can't get the words right

  • this is a really good remade copy of buffy but i think the people were a bit to fast.

i like the end when buffy and spike kiss on this one

    ha ha ha

  • awesome!! this was great! although some of the cast didnt seem too interested in it, like they were bored. but other than that and the off key it was amazing!

  • Great effort, even though the singers were off key. I like how this was a team effort too.

  • Where did you get the script from?? and the music??

Although the talent is less than spectacular, I really enjoyed watching this. It was adorable and funny!!

Brilliant stuff here!! I'm inspired to be a little more proactive with my ideas!!!

<3 And your Dawnie is soooo cute!!!

  • Aww, the little demon boy is sooooooo cute!

  • falling asle

  • guys your amazing, and unbelievably cool.

its an awesome idea and props for getting the kids involved ( i heart spike! )

it's the funniest thing i've seen in a long time, thanks for making my day :D

  • lol cute idea for family time.

  • Oh come on, this isnt good. Performances are boring and nobody seems to know their lines. A good idea, not well executed.

  • Pfft, how many people have good ideas and sit on their asses not doing anything.

Kudos to this lot for not being boring

  • wow.......... this needs help no offence but some of yall didnt know the words ....

  • The girl who plays Buffy doesnt seem very enthuiastic haha but I love buffy

  • Your Dawn is so mindblowingly adorable. AHHH. <3

  • Hmm, I guess that means we don't go through to the next round, Mr Cowell...

Surely YouTube has room for amateurs having fun expressing themselves and being creative, as well as broadcast- quality material. And Joss Whedon says he has no problem with fan fiction notwithstanding its erratic standards. Like our shot-in-a-day tribute its about being inspired not equalling a great show. Don't take things so seriously.

  • Bloody hell- dyou wanna relax a little there mate? its only a bit of fun.

  • emm ye nice try but nobody there can actually sing and everybody is off tune and off time.

  • Awe. I love it too.

  • lol i love it :-)

  • nice. I wa slinked here by BB too :)

  • I was linked here by your post on Buffy-Boards (I;m Edmund Blackadder) - Kudos to all. Brilliant

  • "Dawn" is so cute!!!

  • i have been a fan of buffy since i was a kid, my mom, sister and i would all have family night with buffy, every tuesday night. It's awesome seeing this. You guys are all amazing. And the performance's are great.

  • Haha- this is such a good idea; it was really hilairous! Well done!
