damn, that´s great skill. unbeleaveable how fast you get´em. you probably got thin sticks!? wooden? how long is your rope in the middle? my nunchakus have 65 millimeters rope in between, if i make them shorter it handicaps me, although i know prochux are very close to each other. got any more tips for practicing?
you know oddly enough I can do most the stuff he is doing in the vid ( I just dont make it look as easy and smooth as him lol) but the one thing I still dont have down is catching the chucks together in one hand. for some reason I cant catch them like that. instead I have to sort of hold a wrist roll and catch it so they basically wrap around my hand to catch them. I know its the simplest thing to do but I cant seem to catch them folded. any tips?
Best tip I can give is try holding the side you already have with just your ring and little finger and flip it down, when you removed the other fingers, then back up with a snapping motion, so that it will fall into your hand. Pinch it with your 2 remaining fingers and thumb. This is how I can them, but Im not sure if my explanation was sufficient. Hopefully I helped and good luck in mastering that.
i need 2 learn ALL Those movements u did on this video :P this video it's ssooo, ssooo cool, esse vato... ;P u have all my respects :P.. lol.... i'm tellin' ya, man...., i'd pay u whatever u'd like 2 teach me specially that so "Fluid" movement u have.... :P "Tha Wristroll" :P
nice work here! would you post a how to make video? not forgetting the string to handle length ratio because it looks like yours works really well for you.
That was most excellent ! ! ! Myself I go for the more combat style which is totally different ... But it is very obvious that you have not only practiced a great deal, but you have near mastered what you have been practicing .. You have Good Balance, posture, and concentration .. Impressed ! ! !

Nice...Those are called pro chucks. They are much more balanced and easier to manipulate than regular ones with a longer chain.

competition chucks. Shorter strings for single hand catches. Really proves useful for most of the moves I do.

No, he just likes a medium short cord.
