Joan Rivers was guest hosting for Johnny the night this aired...one of the greatest live performances of ALL TIME by anyone, man, woman or beast. Roberta Flack was scheduled to appear one night and fell sick...she suggested Patti in her place and it was the first time Patti was on with Johnny. He loved her so much he had her on twice that week!
