I think you did a fine job for a first video. The timing and selection of clips will come in time, but you did alright. I also see that in fist time movie makers they tend to over use the effects for the movies. They really don't need the effects unless it moves to the music. I think you might try using a faster movie for this type of song. The dance scenes fit well, but next time try and fit the song with the tone and movment of clips. In this case a more delecate Epica song might be better.
