heeei, in my country (spain) we give two kises with the girls

but between boys we shake hands.

with your friends its diferent, sometimes give a hug, or something like that.

I live in argentina too, and its the same, but between boys, if they are friends, they give a kiss, and both girls and boys its only one kiss, at last in the capital, in some parts of the contry the people give two kisses hahaha

Yes, it can be confusing..

We in Flanders give three kisses

but in Walloons usually you get two kisses

now this is already a difference in one little country, but if we would compare it to the rest of the world, we can see that there are so many different ways to greet each other

It's weird but giving three kisses is less personal than giving a hug here

You just take the other person's hand bring the head forward and kiss the cheeks alternatively

maybe sticking to a high five would help xD

haha yes I have recently concluded that in most situations I will just nod and grin ,and if its a little more familiar the highfive will be suiting lol.

lol this happens to me EVERY TIME i greet someone .. here in saudi arabia we kiss usually but the problom is that we dont have a specific number of kisses so it happens to me alllll the time and i got used to it but there are ppl that greet in a weeeeeeeeeeeeird way like they'd stick theyr faces in yours and kiss mwa mwa mwa and they wouldnt move theyr cheeks until they stop xD cracks me up like what is wrong with you!!!

Welllllllllll I'd just shake hands to avoid any awkwardness I'd get if I hugged them. Then after we talk for a while, if we get that connection//good vibe, then I would hug them when I leave.

we greet peopel in a normal way. hanshake if it's the first time... hug and a kiss on each cheek if its less formal

it realy depends on where you are in belgium. here in gent just 1 kiss, normaly on the french side 2. And 3 is normaly for congratulating someone.

It depends on where you are in Belgium, but yeah kisses varie fro place to place ^^

I usualy give a hand, if i'm in my neighbourhoud, a kiss if i'm in antwerp and a hug ..uhm for goodbye . But that's me I don't think everyone is like me :p

I greet people with a warm hello and a smile.If they want a hug I will hug them. If they want to shake hands I will do that. If you are going to kiss me on the cheek I want to get to know the person first.

If I'm familiar with somebody, I hug...

If I've met the person for the first time, it's a handshake... or an awkward wave of the hand "hello" lol

If it's Filipino family, I kiss them on the cheek once

If it's unfamiliar Filipinos... It's another awkward "hello" or a kiss anyway because somehow, someway, I'm related to them LOL

And Catholic Filipinos, (if you're younger) take an older person's hand and touch the back of it to the forehead... (i'm protestant lol)

If it's american people it's mostly hugs, handshakes just for a little old people.

But if it's from here Guatemala then it'll be a handshake if it's a male and a kiss in the cheek if it's a female.
