  • be os

  • lol.... gnome 3 is out, and why did gnome 2.28 come out after 2.6?

  • what about amigas?

  • I see the artist but what's the name of the song?

  • On 0:50 is IE installed on a Mac?!

  • @bastiaan170 You must be pretty young, in the 90s internet explorer was considered the best browser

  • @xilefian lol i still think its the best :D evey time iv had an issue on a website on another browser switching to IE always fixes it :D

  • @ht448 No it's the worst, when IE "fixes" a website, it's because the website was badly coded FOR IE, so it doesn't work in any other browser except IE.

  • @xilefian well iv always had trouble with fire fox and google chrome ect ect and i like IE i dont see the problem with 90% of websites are designed around it...

  • What about KDE 4.x with Plasmoids, that was out before Windows 7

  • no iGuide OS 1.0

  • No Debian?

  • Love the fact that in last two years gnome and kde have come a long long way - they actually look beautiful now

  • Hell Mac os X and XP were a real relief, before them all that greenness and faint look of the os and then suddenly colors all around, I loved both of them very much!

  • @92tamkel The Mac G3 series really innovated with colouring the cases, it was a matter of time for the OS to get colourful also!

My main PC is a heavily modified Power Mac G3 blue.

  • @xilefian Intel or PPC? Nice! (PPC sucks btw.)

  • @rinkavideos64 Intel, and PPC doesn't suck, PPC computers seem to be a lot more stable than x86 machines.

  • @xilefian I mean speed.

  • @rinkavideos64 that's where you have to decide, do you go for speed or stability?

This generation of games consoles went for stability :3

  • @xilefian Okay, you win, but will a PowerBook run that Windows app you just can't live without? :P

  • @rinkavideos64 That's all down to the developers, not the architecture, it's a petty argument :D

  • @xilefian PPC is not as popular. Not popular = not compatible. That's the fact! And while you can install Linux on PowerBooks, I doubt you will able to run Wine. That should work, but it won't run anything you shove into that delicious glass of beverage!

  • @rinkavideos64 actually, as it stands today PPC isnt just unpopular, its extinct in the UNIX world, apple has completely dropped all support on it on all their computers, you cant install Mac OS 10.5+ on a PPC architecture. Of course, Wine/BIOS and Linux is a different story..PPC is still common when it comes to PCs.

  • @TheItalianGroupyz One word: you won, congrats. I'm still buying an Intel Mac, though.

  • @rinkavideos64 haha..good choice, there great

  • @TheItalianGroupyz Well, in-depth, my future Mac is a MacBook Pro 2011 15-inch, hi-res glossy screen, 2.3GHz turbo-boosting to 3.4GHz Core i7 quad-core processor, 8 gigs of RAM, OS X, iWork and iLife preinstalled, German keyboard (I am German!). Already purchased, now going through configuration stages.

  • @rinkavideos64 that sounds intense.

  • wow, 1,386+ veiws and im the first commentor great vid, but i would like to now which is which, maybe put some annotations
