  • I've speculated about this many times but have no proof of it. The passage in Mathew is that Elijah was 'incarnated' spiritually as John the Baptist. Any one can take on the spirit of another if they so chose to become that person spiritually incarnated. We can chose to become Christ spiritually by putting on Christ through baptism.

  • the threat of reincarnation wasn't because "they" thought people wouldn't aspire to grow. It was a threat because you then needed the church for sanctity, rather than achieve it for yourself.

  • Reincarnated, i messed up.

    AGAIN.

  • @gdark999 Your denial is beneath you. Examine your subconscious mind and find truth.

  • @11tbrito reincarnation is a lie. i have found truth. have you?

  • @gdark999 Your denial is beneath you. Examine your subconscious mind and find truth.

  • @Rachulie Lol, that is the whole point of reincarnation. you fell from God eons ago, and you are working your way back to him. Did you really think being "with god" was as simple as following ten rules for like 70 years? lol.

  • Thanks for your comment on people who have served in the past & in this life want a deep connection with God. I am one. I was a monk in a previous life, back around 1000 AD. I was probably one of those copyists sitting at a table with one little light & a few books. In this life, I've had a habit of copying the highlights of a book I'm reading into a notebook, although I'm not in school. Reincarnation explains these "quirks". I've just been re-creating my old job.

  • @xander7ful So you probably should be serving God in a different way this time, not using your brain so much, but maybe through your heart. It will be more fun.

  • @xander7ful .....this guy is a moron. first of all its the 11 chapter of matthew. moron

  • WHAT???? i hate this. i want to go be with God i dont want to be reincarnated! dang.

  • @Rachulie reincarnation doesn't exist. it's a lie, pure and simple.

  • great video!

  • I did answer you.

  • god bless the truth seekers myspace/xirdal

  • Although I'm not Catholic I surprisingly enjoyed this video. good work

  • @Yirmeyahu23 I'm not either. I am a priest of Jesus and Mary and a true disciple.

  • @Parliament45 As soon as John met Jesus at the Jordan, he said "I must decrease, and he must increase." He knew his mission was over once he acknowledged the Christ as his mission was to clear the way for him.

  • Hello I am an Anglican Youth interested in this doctrine if not to adapt at least to understand, so if I may ask some questions, how did you obtain knowledge of your past lives? Is it only bad people who reincarnate? and what about when Jesus says Sins against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, does that mean you are kicked out of the cycle of rebirth.

  • @Dragoondude32 I was shown my past lives by Jesus. Not all of them. Only those I had still to do some work on to change myself. Almost all people reincarnate until they learn the essential lessons of life, good and bad people do. Sins against the Holy Spirit are not forgiven because they have to be paid off and worked out karmically since they are grievous. Everyone is in the cycle of rebirth until you have until you have paid off your karma and learned your lessons.

  • OMG I am catholic, actually I was ,but I became sick from them, they are wise like radio, nobody is wisest then catholic,go to hell..I havent nothing in common with that demons, cuse they dont act like jesus ,he must be very sad of it

  • Isn't it interesting? Why so many different religions? What do you think?

  • you must be born again

  • @TheChristianMystic I whole agree :>>>

  • Peter, if Purgatory purges between lives, then why the need to return if you are purged in Purgatory ?

  • @Gullytale The intesnity of the errors or sins might still have a charge to them, like in an addiction and it will take some time to burn off their residue before being able to come back in for more experience. Life is for gaining experience and mastering the lessons of the material world. it is an apprenticeship training.

  • @ruach2351 So it's like coming back with a clean sheet each time ? If we have the residue burned off before coming back, what's the point of more experience here ? I am thinking karmic debt here though. We come back here, and this life, experience is kinda the purgation - the learning, burning off of the residue, karmic debt ? If that's done, finished in purgatory - I don't see why we need to come back here. Watched a few of your videos. Nice to see someone think outside the box for a change :)

  • @Gullytale That's a good question. Each soul comes into material life on a planet like Earth to learn the essential lessons of life. One cannot learn all those in one life. One has to mastery these essential lessons before they can move on to the next grade or level of life.

  • @ruach2351 Spot on. In my opinion you both have it right, your perceptions have made me feal great.

A Karmic debt is a very real way to look at it, a self imposed Karmic debt. Also to come back to increase the quality of your consciousness. The memories may not be accessible in the next life, but the quality is always there. Or the lowering or your consciental entropy.

    Thanks for the videos!!

  • Having understood this now.. I think i understand where the buddhists go. They go nowhere. They just come back here. again and again and again until they can balance their karma and ascend into gods kingdom.

It's spiritually common to think that there are multple levels of plains of heaven as there is hell. While it says that acceptance of jesus is the only way to the father.. where is the father? most likely at the top. So Buddhists can reach heaven just not the father without jesus

  • @Darkseany Buddhists can be one with God even if they do not use that name. Be more relaxed in your thinking process, as God is within everything and everybody whether they feel or it know it or not.

  • @ruach2351 I understand. It's just reincarnation and the idea that "all except us christians are going to hell" has been a controversy that has bothered me for a long time. I constantly pondered the very analogy you use to question it, with the 4 year old.

I mean, had they been accurate about that accusation, the christian idea of god would not really seem as loving and forgiving as he claims he is, which he is. Thank you peter. Thank you jesus.

  • @Darkseany sorry I am christian, happily on paper, and I dont believe any hell, hell is just state of our souls,I believe in reincarnation

  • I understand now.. we all die... go to the grey zone, or purgatory as it's called and we come back to try and repay our sins; balance our karma and fully discover god so that we may ascend into his kingdom like jesus did.

However in the end days... those who blindly and unknowingly follow satan and bear is mark shall follow him into hell for 1000 years. And jesus will ascend all who entered his body. Mass ascension. the first time it has ever happened. Save us lives and lives of attempts

  • It's all part of satan's lies. People seem to think they are smarter than God.

God is some force?? Reincarnation?? Come on, repent to Jesus for letting these occult beliefs in your hearts. Satan works like a crowbar, cracking through weak spots in someone's mind

  • @MrTruth111 yea but theres proof of reincarnation in fact in early christianity it was taught but i dont know much about it

  • @matrixlone yes there was,but then came council and all banned,

  • @MrTruth111 OMG I am catholic, but just on paper,I became cuse I was sick from Catholic lies,Nobody has true just catholic, they non respect anybody, change bible still,I am sick bleee,They dont act by Jesus ,but by themselves all church,There is Satan not in belief of reincarnation

  • Padre Peter: I have been praying/meditating about this for a few weeks now. In the Bible God doesnt seem to mind allowing the wicked to be killed directly by Him or by his 'diciples' (because everyone's going to get multiple chances anyway via reincarnation?) also... what about people who never hear about Jesus/Christianity before they die? No big deal b/c of reincarnation?

  • @calebaures Everyone has many chances to learn as God is a loving and patient God. You still have the retribution side of God in your mind and that serves the egos of human beings who are intolerant of people who do not conform to their wishes. God is just.

  • @calebaures good question

  • FATHER, WHERE IS THE CUT IUTS FROM THE SCIPTS NOW? aND WHERE DID THEY CUT IT OUT FROM ?

  • Hebrews 9:27-28 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many...

the gospels were canonized more than 100 years before christianity was sanctioned under constantine and 100 years before the nicene creed was written. it's unlikely that they erased parts talking about reincarnation after canonization. that's the whole point of labeling something as canon scripture. so that nothing can be changed, added or removed.

  • thank you i swear i get tired of seeing so many people say that reincarnation is silly and imoral and that it has no place in christianity ,sometimes i think that an eternity in a place of bright happiness and sunshine sounds boring and depressing the reason for that ismany people love the chaos in this world and i think without discord we would be wayy off the scale . i think it would be interesting to e brought back to live life from a different point of view of a different race , sex ,etc .

  • How limited the Mercy of God would be if we only had one life! We reduce His Mercy, in fact. However, at the same time, there is a reason for not remembering. Imagine if we know who our lovers, friends, family, and enemies were. One must be spiritually ready, and it will be revealed naturally. We must look ahead when we plough forwards, and not look back. Everything is in the now, anyway.

  • Father Peter, can we go through Purgatory on this earth or do we go through Purgatory after we pass to difference space.

  • @1yogalover You can purge your negation and sins out here, but Purgatory is for purging between lives.

  • i very much enjoyed this video. I have recently came to similar conclusions. Have you ever heard of the work that a man called stephen lewis is doing? He runs a company called emc2 which admenistures an energetic balancing program called"aim" . his findings and what they mean has greatly changed my understanding of "the wages of sin are death" I recommend looking into this for it has changed my life greatly

  • @guidav123 I haven't heard of stephen lewis.

  • @ruach2351 he isnt a philosopher or theologian. he is a man that has dedicated his life to understanding energy and it's effect on the human body. with degree's in both homeopathy and acupuncture he has found that all disease starts out as energetic embalances caused by unresolved negative emotions. based on his work he has come to the conclusion that we carry these imbalances from life to life choosing our heriditary imbalances from our parents in an attempt to heal our selves.

  • Yu are right father Peter.. So we get to live one little life and a few sins will get us to hell.. But the most sinful being on creation gets to live for eternity? rofl .. Re-incarnation does exist and those verses you were talking about Elias and John the baptist .. etc.. I discovered them when I was 12 years old. My questioning of it caused three nuns to leave the Catholic Church

  • I want to go to your church...

  • I should have known better to ask a Christian about my being gay. What a mistake. Of course you will say, "it's not something you're born with" Next thing you will say is "Pray the Lord to fix you" I am what I am, and what I am needs no excuses.

  • Dear Father, I am not Christian but believe in a higher intelligence and reincarnation. I am gay. Do you think I was a homophobic (a person who hates gays) in another life? My only explanation is that I came here to learn a lesson ant the most impactful lesson would be that I be born as gay, to live what it's like to be one.

  • @merakli07 One might have to come into this life and understand and accept what in another life one rejected or mistreated. But being gay is not something one is born with. It is an adaptation that one might want to make because of the situation of the family dynamics.

  • That really spoke to me. I have a burning desire to serve God and my parents and environment was not spiritual. I have read the bible and have become very wise. I cannot explain how.

  • It's not that she didn't have enough eggs...it's that her body stopped producing estradiol and started producing estrone as well as other hormonal changes.

  • John Chapter 21 verse 25 ; And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen!

    Thank You Father

  • Thank You Very much for this Father Peter

  • I have ALWAYS believed in reincarnation....but being raised in the church.....IT was not accepted ....but it NEVER stopped my belief!!! It was NOT discussed....but I know how it works with me. I remember!......................

  • I agree 100% with everything said in this video.

I wonder, Father Peter, if you have heard of Sri Aurobindo. Do let me know if you have, thanks.

  • @KittenButter Yes, I have read some of his works.

  • I need an answer from Father Peter

How could you explain Elia's take off, was it a UFO for those days?

  • @rummiena Elijah was taken up in a firey light that looked like a firey chariot. He ascended and then was able to reincarnate into Elizabeth's womb as John the Baptist.

  • I wonder who im the reincarnation of

  • father Peter, please excuse me, but after a bit of reflection on your comment, is it also possible, do you think, that I may have come back and went through what I did to spare a person or a few maybe, of going through a harder life than they would have had I not took on a bit more pain? I vividly recall my thoughts, and most of them were along the lines of " It'll all be worth it if it spares another child and they can live a better life" Thank You for your patience with me, ahead of time :D

  • @artlitmusic That could be one way to pay for someone else.

  • And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment

    Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27.

  • Jesus:"Unless one is born agn he can't see God's kingdom." Nicodemus:"Hw can a man be born when old? He can't enter d womb agn & be born, can he?"Jesus,"Unless one is born of water & Spirit he cannot enter into God's kingdom. Dat born of flesh is flesh, & dat born of Spirit is spirit. Wind blows as it wishes & u hear, but do not noe where it come & go; so is 1 born of Spirit. For God so loved the world, dat He gave His only Son, dat whoever believe in Him shall not perish, but hv eternal life."

  • Father, what you believe is false. You'll be in my prayers. God bless.

  • @MrMercyMercyMe I can always use your prayers for the good of other people and for helping me to be a better instrument for peace int he world and for Jesus and Mother Mary.

    Thank you

  • Reincarnation is self evident if you believe in life after death. Take the definition of incarnation to begin with.Jesus appeared after his crucifixion, in another presence which his disciples were not able to recognize. Would this not be a "re" incarnation. Thus with all of us as humans who believe in life after death. Do we not incarnate as another form of being, after our physical death. We certainly don't enter the after life in this physical body, so by definition it is a "re" incarnation.

  • @gtr362 Well, not quite because incarnation means in another physical body. But youare not far off from the truth.

  • im orthodox born christian and its strange that everybody denies reincarnation ... truth is.. gods system isn't computer one-sided system, we can (PROBABLY) ask to get back... i got some memories and emotional feelings in past life and as more i research im getting perfect picture about another life.. .. it made me way more spiritual and connected to god.. reply , lets me see what u think

  • @Dzoni73 Yes, we have lived many lives and if we are open, we start to remember at some point in life. Many situations trigger those memories and it is not our imagination when they come up. They are for learning and growing.

  • i got a question why are priests called fathers when JESUS said not to call any earthly man your father and you have one father who is in heaven also reincarnation ? i think its not understood properly jesus was god incarnate meaning he was love since god is love this raw essence that inhabited a human body but dont we all have to give an account for our life not our lives? so jthe baptist was elijah in what he taught not his spirit please get back to me

  • @screechdogg Jesus also said to the disciples, "Know you not that you are gods?"

Not belong to God, but actually gods in the making. Elijah reincarnated as John the Baptist. he was a baby born six months before Jesus to Elizabeth who was not able to have any children and she was too old when she conceived.

  • Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. 1 Tim.4v1

    This man is a LIAR.

As it is appoined unto men ONCE to die, but after this comes THE JUDGEMENT.

Hebrews 9v27. How many times do we die? ONCE.

  • @weretheguys Just because you don't remember other lives, does not mean that you haven't had them.

  • I came into this world also with a deep love for God and Jesus. My life was difficult though as a child, although I felt Their love and it surely got me through-does this mean it was something i had to go through? Like karma or a learning experience? What do ppl like me do when we cant find a church they like thats near, and feel a real need to be baptised that doesn't take a yr or 2 of classes and long distance travel?

  • @artlitmusic You did have to go through the pain of childhood and growing up years even though it was painful and sad. But that was because of things you did to others in a former life. Baptism washes off the original sin and inheritance of Adam and Eve and brings you in to Grace and forgiveness. You can prepare for this with a real priest in our Order and then visit a Center of Light to be baptized at some point.

  • Thank You :)

  • Thanks for this video. May I ask were there many early christians who believed in reincarnation? ANd also are the mystic traditions very ancient in christianity?

  • Excuse me Father. Where's your esciptural reference that supports that you can't go backwards in the reincarnation cycle? That's not true..of course you can go. Otherwise how do you pay for your big failures?

  • Hi father peter, It is so wonderful hear that you believe in reincarnation. I grew up as a catholic but I always believed in reincarnation, even as a child. But other catholics and christians thought I would go to hell for believing that and I couldn't change my religion to buddhism because I didn't believe that human can be born as animals as punishment either. If I may ask, what do you think of purgatory?

  • @1yogalover Purgatory is a real condition of purging out addictions and desires that are less than the purity of love in a person. It lasts for as long as it takes to burn out the desire so the soul can once again get back to drawing closer to God.

  • I admire you for speaking up for the truth. Truth prevails!

  • Comment removed

  • John Constatine remove reincarnation out of the bible so explain that ,,,christianity is currupted....and his name is not Jesus ..Correct name is Yahshua. That Jesus name did not exist in those days soo why preachers, prist and pastors brainwash people into believing that Pagan made up name cause Yahshua translated in English is not Jesus its Jashua....there is no LETTER "J" in the Hebrew language

  • In Hebrew, "Y' and "j" are the same letter and so there is a "J" in that language. let's not quibble about something so silly.

  • This sounds like UFO, contactee, Billy Meier's teachings.

  • If we come back...and your life is judged on performance, then Jesus did not need to die on the cross. The Christian belief is that when we believe in Christ as savior, God looks at Jesus' life, not ours. So if we believe in Jesus...there should be NO NEED TO REINCARNATE.

  • What we do matters and we are accountable for every action and word and intent. Even more so if you are a disciple of Jesus, your life matters. Jesus being perfect is great and a great example, but he said we should do everything that he did. Not just admire that he did it and we don't have to. Jesus brought grace, forgiveness and mercy. We still have to act like he did in order to say we are following Him.

  • Im hindu and alot of the stuff they did leave out of the bible is very similar to buddhism and hinduism.

Jesus Christ is the savior if u follow his teachings word for word. But how many people in the world follow teachings word by word?

  • But Jesus was the only perfect human ever. i can't be exactly like that. i have faults and i've sinned in thought and deed, and i know i will continue no matter how hard i try not to. I hope God will forgive me as i'm basically a good person, but do i need to be baptised? What do you think Father?

  • Amen to that brother!

  • There are lots of martyrs or social reformers who died before their time was up simply because powerful people did not agree with them. Christians are the ones who built up a cult around one very mature, intelligent man.

  • I think Jesus was a non-violent social reformer who challenged and was martyred by the ruling class, the Romans. Just look at people like Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Che, Malcolm X, Jose Rizal, etc.

Some of the Jews may have felt that Jesus fulfilled some Old Testament prophecies and split off as a faction of Judaism, to become a religion based on Judaism but centered around Christ, known as Christianity.

I think we are the only ones who judge our lives.

  • Just wish all Christians were like this guy. Seems like karma is G-d's system that punishes the punisher which then aids in the defelection of negative thoughts/actions to the positive which leads those to seek the way. Good work Father pete!

  • Can I ask, you keep saying what "we" teach.

Where do you teach this. And is the teachings worldwide or localized?

I have always had conflicts because I believe in Jesus but I strongly feel reincarnation is true. (through personal experience)

If your teachings/Church has a name please let me know more details.

  • Jesus in Samsara

  • you can really only inhabit one body at a time, one gender at a time. Usully people get a whole life to learn the energies of that experience and to master themselves. in exceptional cases, advanced beings who are very close to God can appear in two places at once, but they would manifest with the same looke in each case and be recognizable.

  • hi father peter, this was a great video, but I wanted to know how you responded to Hebrews 9:27?

  • "Just as it is appointed for mortals to die once...." heb 9:27 refers to the body your are in dies once. But your soul does not die unless you trash it by going with the dark side of life permanently. So your soul lives continuously and only dies if you kill it. But the physical dies, as it is the least important part of you. Millions have personal experience of having lived in other embodiments. if one doesn't have such experience, then you have to put it on the shelf and let it be for a while.

  • Great question...with reincarnation i am reminded also of what God says in Leviticus 19 & 20 about "familiar spirits".

  • We are all sons and daughters of God from the beginning made perfect in the image and spiritual likeness of God, our Creator. But we all feel far from that state and Jesus and Mother Mary were the first to return completely pure, obedient and transformed.

  • Fantastic! Finally a man of knowledge and wisdom.

  • One of the arguments in the early Christianity was if Jesus became a son of god through the process of reincarnation or he always was the son of god...
