  • The shooter was seeing how many shots he has left and for any jamming

  • Cool video, but I have a question: why was the shooter constantly torquing the rifle sideways and checking for an open bolt like you would on AR-15? The handle's clearly visible to the shooter.

  • Great video. I have a vz-58, fantastic rifle. We have a subforum devoted to the vz-58 at czfirearms.us too. I will say we've been waiting for the .223 with AR magwell for a long time, looks great. Only one question, all the money spent on this video, and they couldn't afford targets? :) Thanks for sharing it.

  • interested in the sporter version thats legal to own in canada. I wonder if its accurate for a .233 rem?

  • I have the 7.62x39 compact. Tons of fun

  • man, the more I look at this stubby rifle, the more I like it :D I'll be looking into the accessories as well for my full size CZ 858. I hear so much good stuff about the CZ you would think the Israeli Army would replace the micro galil with this.

  • Great little gun! You would think that the Czech rifle would use a .308. Awesome video! Thumbs up for sure.

  • Great video,Shalom.

  • would it be possible to rebuild the sporter version in .223 to something what actually looks like a vz/cz 58/858??The come with this strange one piece grip-stock conversion

  • @robin6512 Yes, its possible follow the link in the description.

  • @yoavdotan22 Shalom,ah ok , same kit as i got for my cz858. toda

  • @robin6512 anytime, shalom

  • So who has a vz58 in 5.56?

  • ak mag well adapter any time soon?....

  • Is it Israeli standard practice to check how many rounds you have left every time you fire 2-3 rounds? I must be missing something.

  • @SardaukarQC Ditto... WTF?

  • @SardaukarQC they aren't checking the magazine they are checking the breach to make sure there is no jam before they move up that is Standard Israel practice

  • Thank you ,I could not figure what he was doing

  • You Israeli boys are always one step ahead in innovation! Nice work. I would love the AR15 adaptor to accept my PMAGS.

  • Great video!

  • @abarms11b Thanks

  • AMAZING!

  • very impressive!

  • Oh man these are sweet :D In canada they are called CZ 858s. I have the full length 18.5' barreled non-restricted version and its flawless. I want the 11.5' barreled version. But HOW ih hell does the tiny compact version even cycle rounds with that short a barrel and system? I would guess thats for CQB work alone eh? Its a solid design? Works without fail?

  • @shkotay Very solid design and a lot of fun to shoot.

  • @yoavdotan22 Thanks for the reply :D I wasnt sure something with THAT short a barrel would even work reliably. Gotta get em from Wolverine Supplies here in Canada and they are somewhat pricey although FAR cheaper then brand name ARs (any AK or close version thereof is prohibied totally but thankfully the czech one isnt) and I didnt want to spend 900 bones on it if it wasnt the real deal. I'll be looking into it. Thanks :D

  • Very nice!

  • I love my Vz58...... it fixed a lot of the defects of the AK series, and with modern accessories it's even better. I love the compact version (they always look great in high speed video, much like my V51 MP5 sized G3). The accessories from Zahal work great with the Vz58 (we have a number of reviews on them) and makes them more ergonomic.
